Fabric alerts a) Port & switch status Login to the switch and check the switch port status ( porterrshow, Switchstatusshow ) b) Server not logged check the switch if the server is logged in using cfgshow command. c) Light level issues For checking the cap1 recommended value ( 200) use the command sfpshow slot/port. d ) Zoning issues If the server is facing Zoning issues , use the command cfgshow and check zone , alias details. e ) Disabling or enabling the switch ports Using the switch commands ( CLI ) config terminal interface fc slot/port shut to disable the port No shut to enable the port. f ) For the port errors & light level issues coordinate with JSA team for Cable check and emc SFP replacement . 2 Storage alerts - Login to the management hosts and connect to the proper Symm boxes. a) Server not able to access the storage - Using symcli commands will be checking HBAs are logged into the storage symcfg sid 226 list logins wwn wwnnumber symcfg sid 226 list logins | grep i hostname Servers are showing multiple disk copies from SAN - Use symcli for checking the issues. Servers are not able to boot This issue is applicable to boot from san hosts , check the connectivity , fabric parameters and also verifiy nothing has changed in the host environment recently. Disk groups are not in the expected modes - If the DGs are not in the expected mode , manually make them in the proper state Login to the management station : ksanman02 or psanman02 Go to cd /usr/local/srfa_a/bin Run ./symrecover_ksh DGname noDR for normal Mode Run ./symrecover_ksh DGname noDR for DR Mode. Loggin to the management system Kdcp4pecc05 and open centera viewer. Add the centera IP address then use the below commands.
