1. Executive summary

Introduction
Cue is a banana (turon) cue business run by grade 12 TVL students of 12-Luke in compliance to the
requirements of the K to 12 Curriculum. It serves best-tasting banana turon cue at a budget friendly
cost. Its target market are the people living only at Tubaran to san Antonio, but this product is known
mostly target market to sell of students or teachers of School. These healthy snacks will be produced
in the Home Economics kitchen of store and sold all around the working establishments. The start-up
capital would be Php 620. Generated through equal financial contribution of the partners.
My business aims to establish a profitable banana cue strand, it offers delicious and affordable snacks
made from fried bananas coated in sugar. It has high quality ingredients and it also give you nutrients
from the banana.

Our Vision
We, at Cue, envision of Filipinos that are health conscious and we dream of our country that protects its
food culture. We intend to cultivate health consciousness and cultural awareness among Filipinos by
selling traditional Filipino comfort food with nutritional value.

Our Mission
We, at, aim to decrease unhealthy food consumption of the students of TCQNHS. We want to advocate
healthy food choices by providing them healthier food options without compromising the taste.

2. Business description

Product Description
Banana cue is a fried banana and sweets snacks coated in melted brown sugar and served on a
barbecue sticks. Banana cue are Filipino comfort snacks or merienda. This is so because bananas is
abundant in the Philippines. They also require very minimal ingredients and are easy to prepare,
making it a popular go-to snacks. It also satiates hunger and is a healthier snack option in comparison
to junk food and street food. Today, many students are often opting for unhealthy choices because of

taste. We at cue, aim to reduce unhealthy food consumption of students by serving these delicious
snacks with nutritional value.

Cue is business that aims to sell banana cue to people s only of from P3, Tubaran, to P 3 San Antonio,
Tubod, Lanao del Norte. This snacks are produced not only to taste good but also with observed safety
and sanitation measure to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.

Packaging

The finished product that aims to sell banana turon cue would be skewered on bamboo skewers, the
traditional and most common way of serving the snack while the banana cue will be placed on small
paper bags (bolsitas) Instead of Packaging our items on plastic, we plan to have them packaged on
bolsitas that are biodegradable so we may help achieve a cleaner and more sustainable environment,
emphasizing our commitment to preserve our planet.

3. Market analysis and strategy

My target market is the only Tubaran to San Antonio, because I have been observing that the people
their need my product specially the working establishment since many of them want to taste a delicious
banana cue of mine.

hard for new businesses to gain customers

Product Description
Cue will be producing fried banana turon coated in melted brown sugar. These snacks are the typical
Filipino merienda for it is easy to prepare, requires minimal ingredients, and are cheap. They can be
very effective in easing hunger and are nutritious in comparison to junk food and street food. Today,
many people or some students are often opting for junk foods and street foods. We at Cue, aims to
reduce unhealthy food consumption of students by serving these snacks with nutritional value.

Market Area
The products will be marketed all over the people or working establishment within Tubaran to San
Antonio.

Target Market
Turon cue target buyers would be mainly people of Tubaran to San Antonio and probably working
establishment as well.

Market Competition
Since banana turon cue is a popular snack, Turon is no longer distinct in the market. There is one
identified competitor who sells similar product inside within the area and two competitors outside, near
the home vicinity.

Product Positioning
Cue will be marketed as a healthy and tasty snack as the tagline suggests “Eat will Live will ka sa
sustansiya’t sarap”. While others say “makuha ka sa tingin”, we at Turon cue will entice customers with
our “healthy and delicious” tag. We want our target market to opt for healthier snack options without
compromising the taste. With this tag, customers will perceive our products as better than junk foods
and street foods.

Promotional Strategies
We at Turon cue value our customer’s convenience. With this, we plan to have salespeople who will
roam around the working establishments selling our products, highlighting the place utility. With this
strategy, we believe that we could gain a competitive advantage against our competitors since we are
closer to our target market.
I plan to market my product to the working establishment or house to house; I will establish
relationship with other students to be my partner in sealing my product and given them 10% of the profit
they will earn.

5. Management and organization description


Cue shall employ a general partnership type of business organization. Cue will designate a leader who
will take charge in the overall business activities to ensure a systematic and organized flow of business
operations. All of Cue’s partners are grade 12 students in the TVL, Business, and Management Strand
with ample know-hows regarding business and entrepreneurship.

6. Product and Services Description


My main product will be banana (turon) cue, made from ripe bananas coated in caramelized sugar. I will
assure you its deliciousness of my banana cue.

8. Operating Plan
Production Process
The production will take place at the Home Economics in kitchen of store. But before the production,
raw materials will be purchased at Tubod public market in Lanao del Norte. These raw materials will be
converted into high quality banana turon cue with appetizing taste and nutritious value as well.
The cooking starts with heating the oil in a large pan. When the oil is hot enough, brown sugar is added.
Afterwards, the brown sugar is left to melt in the hot oil. When completely melted, the plantain bananas
and sweet potatoes are then added, letting the melted sugar coat the outsides of the bananas and
wrappers. When they are already cooked, they are taken out of the oil and skewered on bamboo
skewers. These snacks are best served hot.
In the production process, we will ensure utmost safety and sanitation to assure that we emphasize the
value of health and nutrition for our customers. Thereby, serving them clean and healthy snacks that
would generate high levels of customer satisfaction.

Ingredients
Spring roll wrappers
2-3 ripe plantains or cooking bananas (saba)
Strips of jackfruit (optional)
½ cup brown sugar
Cooking oil, for frying

Procedure
1.Peel the bananas and cut them into halves or smaller pieces, depending on your preference.
2. In a frying pan or skillet, cooking oil over medium heat. Make sure the oil is deep enough to fully
submerge the bananas.
3.Ones the oil is hot, carefully add the bananas pieces into the pan. Fry them unhealthy turn golden
brown.
4.Once the bananas are fried, remove them from the pan using a slowed spoon or tongs. Allow any
excess oil to drain of.
5.In the same pan, reduce the heat to low and remove any excess oil, leaving only a thin layer to coat the
pan.
6.Add brown sugar to the pan, enough to create caramel coating for the bananas.
7.Stir the sugar continuously until it melts and form a thick, sticky caramel syrup.

8.Once the caramel is ready, carefully return the fried bananas to the pan.
9.Continue cooking for another 1 to 2 minutes.
10.Once the bananas are fully coated and the caramel is thick and sticky turf on the heat.
11.transfer to the plate and ready to seal.
In addition, we believe that the customers are our best marketing tool. The implementation of our
strategy starts at the production stage, where we ensure only clean and high quality products are
produced for the consumption of our customers. In the marketing and distribution phase, we guarantee
that our people uphold the value of our customers, treating them with utmost respect. With this, we are
confident that we could generate high levels of customer satisfaction and they would most probably
buy on a regular basis, or encourage others to buy as well.
