Final checks 0
NOTE Check if hotfixes and Service Packs are available for this soft-
ware version according to various Speedinfos and Update
Instructions.
• Perform the “Quality Assurance“ procedure: “Image Orientation“ in the service platform.
• Make sure that the system is generating images.
NOTE Use only CD-R 's with medical grade, e.g. Siemens Medical
CD-R 80 or TDK Medical CD-R.
Save the site-specific data each time you make changes to the site-specific configuration,
tune-up, or sequences and protocols. In case of a hard disk crash, you will be able to
restore a valid set of site-specific data.
• (You are logged in as meduser / login as meduser.)
• Start the service platform, select Backup & Restore.
• Insert a recordable CD-disk in the CD/DVD-burner.
• Select Backup in the “Command“ pull-down menu.
• In the menu Drives, select the target drive CD/DVD-burner (drive letter S:) used to save
the data.
• Select Master-Backup in the “Packages“ menu.
• Click Go to start the “Backup“, check for errors in the log-window after the backup has
been completed.
Restoring site-specific data may be helpful in many situations. Please read the following
information prior to beginning the work.
After a software installation without “Silent-Restore“, a set of site-specific data will save you
plenty of work/time. The site-specific data e.g. Configuration, Tune-up, and QA are included
in the master backup.
• Login as meduser ↵.
• Start the “Internet Explorer“
• Click the link “Click here to start the Local Service Configuration“ in the Internet
Explorer (with the window title Start Up Check).
• Login to the service platform, select Backup & Restore.
• Insert the backup disk in the CD/DVD-ROM.
• Select Restore in the “Command“ pull-down menu.
• Select the source drive CD/DVD-ROM (drive letter R:) in the “Drives“ menu.
• Select your xxx_Master-Backup_xxxx_xxxx_ok.ar to be restored in the “Archive“
menu.
• In the menu “Groups“, select the necessary packages to be restored.
• Click Go to start the “Backup“, check for errors in the log window after the restore has
been completed. (Estimated time ~10-15 min.)
• Click Home.
• Click OK to reboot the system.
Restoring the site-specific data may be helpful in many situations. Please read the following
information before beginning with the work.
In case of corrupted site-specific data, we recommend saving the actual status of the
site-specific data to another medium before restoring an old save set. This will save time if
the problem is resolved by reinstalling the software. The actual tune-up data may save a
great deal of work, especially if the customer optimized his protocols recently.
• Login as administrator ↵.
• Start the “Internet Explorer“
