• U.S. Coast Guard went live on the Department of Homeland Security’s Financial Systems Modernization
Solution (EBS). This is the third major component of DHS to move onto EBS in recent years (CWMD, TSA,
USCG).
• Ongoing EBS Adoption in 2022
• U.S. Postal Service is using EBS to ship hundreds of millions of free Covid Rapid Tests to U.S. households
• Almost all agencies running EBS are implementing the G-Invoicing solution to support new Treasury standards
for managing reimbursable work agreements between agencies, which take effect October 2022
• UK NHS (National Health Service) pays about 1.7 million people with EBS Payroll and uses EBS Learning Management.
• UK Government uses EBS to provide a central shared service center SSCL providing Finance, HR, Payroll and Inventory
services to over 300K government employees across 17 government departments and the Metropolitan Police.
• UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) uses EBS to provide Finance, HR and Payroll services to 250K MoD employees.
• National Shared Services Office (NSSO) Irish Government provides HR and Payroll services to over 40 Government
departments and is rolling out a Finance Shared Service to replace over a dozen EBS instances.
• EBS is widely used in public sector through EMEA region:
• Dubai, Oman, Kuwait, Egypt use EBS to support multiple agencies through shared service implementations.
• Kenya, South Africa, Saudi use EBS for government ERP functions.
