1, CLOSE FRIEND

I'd like to tell you about my dearest friend Giang. I've known her since we were barely
eight years old. She is currently a student at Phennika University, but we remain in touch
and discuss everything about our lives. Giang has the classic Vietnamese appearance, with
long, black hair, a thin build, and sparkling eyes. I think I like her eyes. Regarding
personality, she is such a kind person and how to care for and help others. She is a
fantastic listener, so I share all of my joys and sorrows with her. Her youthful and refined
dress sense is another outstanding quality about her. I often ask her to be my stylist for
formal occasions because of this. I've known you for ten years and we will try to maintain
our friendship for as long as we can.

2, FAVOURITE FOOD
One of my favourite food is Banh Mi. It is an extremely popular dish and is considered
a typical cuisine of Vietnam. Prices range from VND 15,000 to VND 25,000, and you can
get a full loaf of bread with pate, butter, cucumber, chili,... Additionally, there are many
fillings inside the bread, including fried eggs, silk rolls, char siu, grilled beef, sausages,
and more. All create a unique flavor for the dish. The highlight of the bread lies in its
crunchiness, richness in flavor, bringing great taste. Just take a bite, you will feel its
crunchiness, a little sweetness, fat mixed with the cool taste of vegetables and herbs. I've
been consuming bread for at least ten years. And I think this dish will forever be my
favorite
3, FAMILY
I have a nuclear family with 4 people: my parents, me and my younger sister. My dad is
a freelancer, my mom is a government employee and my younger sister is in primary
school. My family is quite close, I don’t know what it’s like for other families, but for me,
it really feels that way. We have this family tradition where my mom cooks a special meal
for everyone on the weekend. At that time, our household can bond around the dinner
table and savor something that we don’t get to enjoy every day. The weekend is the
greatest time because everyone gets together to do the housework and I really happy for
that. I believe that having a whole family and living a joyful life with my loved ones
makes me luckier than many other people. I really respect it, which is why I adore my
famiy even if there may occasionally be arguments, but following those, we get along
better.
4, CITY/HOMETOWN
My hometown is Hanoi city. The city, located in the Nouth of Vietnam, is the heart of
the politics and culture of the whole country. To be honest, I would say I like everything.
But maybe what I like the most is the peaceful and quiet. I often get around at night by my
motorbike to sense the aromatic (ˌerəˈmadik – thơm) scent of milk flowers which sprawls
(sprôl- lan tỏa) all over the atmosphere thanks to the breeze. However, not everyone loves
it, some might think the fragrance (ˈfrāɡrəns- hương thơm) is too much to take. Hanoi is
one of the well-known tourist attractions in Vietnam, given that there is an array of
historical sites like: like Hoa Lo prison, Hoan Kiem Lake, Long Bien Bridge,.. If I am
asked whether Hanoi is a decent place to live, I will have a lot of considerations. Sure the
cost of living is expenses but the services from health care, entertainment here are fast and
convenient. So, in my opinion, although residing in Hanoi is challenging, it’s still worth
staying in this city.
5, YOUR FUTURE PLAN AFTER GRADUATE
For undergraduate students. Deciding what to do after graduation can be said to be the
most difficult one. Aftergraduete, I will choose to continue to study aboard. I think the
country continues to study it’s still possible. My intention is to teach at a university in the
future. So it's very important for me to give a diploma. If I don't want to teach in the
future, I would choose to be more selective. If a graduate immediately find a suitable job,
then I feel that the edge of the work to take the diploma, then I do not have the real energy
limited and the effect is not good to read in the end it is the best way So if it's me, I'll
choose to go on reading instead of doing something else.
6, A FAVORITE FESTIVAL/HOLIDAY
Tet is my favorite holiday.It is one of the most important holidays in Vietnam, which
occurs in late January and early February. Why I can say it is important? Because of the
fact that Vietnamese families are so close-knitted, Tet holiday is a time for family
members to return home and meet together. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of
this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, prepares a tray of
rice to worship ancestors. On New Year’s Eve, most families gather together to have a
warm dinner and a traditional rituals. On the first day of New Year, youngsters will give
their best greetings to oldsters and receive lucky money. In the rest time of Tet, people can
go to pagodas to pray for good things, peace, and health. Tet is an important occasion for
families and friends to be together after a year of hard work, and it can motivate people to
try harder in the next year.
7, DREAM JOB
My dream career in the future is to be a English teacher.In class, while watching the
teachers passionately teaching on the podium, I had a dream of becoming a teacher later.
Every day I always try to study hard, read documents and improve my own knowledge.I
have observed the teachings of the teachers who have taught me. After that, I researched
and learned more about how to convey, specialized knowledge. I know that to be a
teacher, in addition to improving knowledge, there must be patience, confidence and
generosity.Although this career has many challenges, I always choose to pursue my
dream. It is still a long way to go to my dream career, and I am sure I will always learn
new and necessary things to be a good teacher.
 8, THE BENEFITS OF TECHNOLOGY IN OUR LIFE
Technology has appeared in all areas of life: education, health, art, entertainment,
economy,… Technology makes everything smarter and more convenient. First, technology
makes social connections more convenient. As long as the smart device connects to wifi,
we can easily text, call, video call, online meeting, … without having to travel as far as
before. Second, technology helps to absorb people’s knowledge more diversely, more and
faster. Just sitting at home, you can also learn anything online that interests you. A lot of
knowledge has been shared on the internet. Next, for huge amounts of information data,
the development of digital technology will make it possible for everything to be easily
stored in many devices, such as laptops, mobile phones, computers. desktop or tablet. The
data stored online will be accessed quickly and easily through any device that can connect
to the internet.
9. FAVOURITE PLACE
3 year ago, I had a far-off destination with my family to Mekong Delta. This area have 1
city and 12 town, we went and explored there for a week. We came there by plane and
booked the ticket 2 weeks after we took off. To be honestly, Mekong Delta is not as
prominent /ˈprä mə nənt/ as other place because this is a farmland with no outstanding
scenery.,.. When we went there, I experienced a lot of modes of transportation, including a
rowing boat and a ferry. What a memorable event ! We sampled a variety /və -ˈrai-ə-dē/of
regional specialties, and I noticed that they all had one thing in common: they were all
sweet. For many people, it is not an ideal tourist destination, but for me, it is a place worth
experiencing, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. So it is a holiday of my lifetime.
10. A USEFUL OF COMPUTER FOR STUDENTS
Computer currently helps me much in my study.I often type my lessons on the computer
and format them to make them attractive to eyes so that I may learn them by heart quickly
and review them conveniently.computer helps me keep my materials safely for future use.
Today, beside the hard drive, I often save my documents in the cloud and use them
anytime, anyplace easily. Moreover, I often updatemy materials on the screen. This
enables / en-ˈnei -b(ə)l /me to create clear and tidy versions of materials and save up much
time for other activities. On the other hand, computer is the most helpful friend helping me
learn information and knowledge on the internet. Thanks to computer, I often access the
internet and learn many things. Computer has made my understanding better day by day
and become indispensable for my study.
