sc 120 : sensor home does not see the scan unit returningThe main position sensor of the scan unit does not detect the
"OFF" condition during initialization or replication. Causes: Faulty SIB or scanner drive motor • Defective scan unit motor •
Disconnected between SIB and scan drive motor • Disconnected power supply between SIB and scanner drive motor •
Faulty HP sensor • Harness between SIB and HP sensor disconnected • Scanner wire, defective timing belts, pulleys, or

Cause: The IPU is faulty. Defective BCU.
sc 165: Replication Data Security Unit ErrorThe Replication Data Security Table is not detected when the replication data
security function is set to "ON" with the factory setting. Device test errors occur when the replication data security function
is set to "ON" with the factory settings.
Cause: Incorrect installation of the replication data security table • The replication data security panel is faulty.
sc 202: Hex motor (laser box) fault 1: ON timeout The polygonal mirror motor fails to reach the target operating speed
within 10 seconds. after turning on or changing the speed. Replace the laser box.
sc 203 : Polygon motor fault 2: OFF standby time The Polygon mirror motor does not leave a READY state within 3
seconds. after the polygon motor is turned off. Replace the laser box with a new one.
sc 204: Polygon (laser box) motor fault 3: XSCRDY signal errorThe SCRDY_N signal remains HIGH for 200 ms while the
LD unit is activating.
Cause: Loose or damaged polygon controller/panel • Defective polygon motor/panel • Defective laser optics • Defective
IPU.
sc 220: Laser synchronization detection error: LD0 start positionThe laser synchronization detection signal for the start
position of LDB is not output for two seconds after the LDB device is turned on while the polygon motor is spinning

Cause : The Copy Data Security Unit card has not been installed • The Copy Data Security Unit card has been installed, but
it is not the correct type for the machine.
sc 221 : Laser synchronization detection error: LD1 start positionThe laser synchronization detection signal for the LDB
start position does not appear for two seconds after the LDB unit is turned on while the polygon motor is spinning normally.
Cause: • The Copy Data Security Unit card is not installed • The Copy Data Security Unit card is installed, but it is not the
right type for the machine.
sc 230: FGATE ONThe FGATE signal does not assert within the specified time. (The BICU generates an FGATE signal and
sends it to the LD unit when the registration sensor is on.)
sc 240: The LDIPU ray error has detected a problem in the LD device. Causes: • LD does not emit rays • LD's plug cord is
broken or damaged.
sc 302 : Charge Roller Line Leakage Fault A charging roller voltage leakage signal has been detected. Causes: • The
charging roller is damaged • The high-voltage supply board is
faulty • The PCDU plug cord is faulty or disconnected. The two drum heads are worn out, causing a fire between the charge
and the drum (replacing the drum with a new one).
sc 304 : Faulty Charge Drum ContactThe correction of the charged roller deviation is carried out twice even when the
maximum charged roller deviation (-2000V) is applied to the roller. Causes: • Faulty ID sensor • Worn charging roller •
Damaged charging roller. Broken drum.
sc 320 : Magnetic polarity voltage leakageMaximum PMW duty (65%) detected in 60 ms after high voltage is supplied to
the magnetic boxCauses: • Magnetic polarity contact leakage • Damaged plug cord • Faulty high-voltage power supply,

sc 324 : Magnetic box rotary motor errorThe magnetic box motor lock signal error detector for 2 seconds after the drum

sc 396 : Drum Motor FaultThe machine detects the lock signal error from the drum motor for 2 seconds after the drum
motor is turned on. Causes: • Overload on the motor • Faulty drum motor • Faulty harness • Faulty IOB.
SC 400 : Vsg Adjustment ErrorThe Vsg is greater than 4.2V or 3.8V or less when the machine adjusts the Vsg value.
Causes: • The ID sensor is dirty or defective • The faulty ID sensor cannot be connected.
sc 440: The transfer belt polarity voltage is faulty. The return supply deviation from the transfer belt is greater than 4V in 60
msec while the offset of the transfer belt is the output. The A/D conversion level is 20 or less in 60
milliseconds. The PWM task is 24% or more in 60 milliseconds. Causes: • Damaged power supply • Faulty plug cord •
Disconnect. faulty (broken) high-voltage unit.
sc 441: Defective magnetic box rotary motor and transfer beltMagnetic lock signal error detector for 2 seconds after turning
on the transfer motor and magnetic boxCauses: • Overload on the motor • Defective magnetic/transfer box motor • Faulty

sc 442 : Motor error connected to transfer belt Transfer belt The HP sensor detects incorrect movement of the transfer belt

sc 533 : The paper escapes the cooling fan motor fault (the cooling fan error in front of the machine)The machine does not
detect the fan motor lock signal for 10 seconds after turning on the cooling fan motor to escape the paper. Causes: • The
paper drain cooling fan motor is faulty or disconnected. • The IOB is faulty • The plug cord is disconnected.
sc 540: The IOB dryer unit rotation motor fails to receive a lock signal for 2 seconds after turning on the fusing motor.
Causes: • Motor overload • Defective or disconnected drying motor. • The IOB is faulty • The plug cord is disconnected.
Error report sc 541: The thermal fuse in the middle is open, disconnected (the thermofuse is exposed)The thermistor
(middle) detects 0°C or lower in 5 seconds. Causes: • The drying thermistor is disconnected • The drying thermistor
connector is faulty.
sc 542: Faulty drying temperature when starting the machine in the middle position (insufficient heat)This SC is generated
if the following condition occurs:• The thermistor (middle) does not detect an increase in the melting temperature of 8°C
for 7.5 seconds. as soon as the drying temperature reaches 45°C.• The temperature of the central thermistor does not reach
the target temperature for 28 seconds after the drying light is switched on. Causes: • The thermistor is warped or damaged.
sc 543 : Overheat dryer element fault 1 (software detection)The drying temperature (at the center) above 230°C (446°F) is
detected in 1 second by the fused thermistors at the center or at either end of the drying roller. Causes: • Faulty power
supply • Faulty I/O board (IOB) • Faulty BICU • Missing TRIAC on the PSU (faulty PSU), faulty thermistor.
sc 544 : Combined overtemperature error 1 (hardware detection)The melting temperature (at the center) above 250°C is
detected by the fusion temperature monitoring circuit in the BICU board. Causes: • Faulty I/O (IOB) board • Faulty BICU.
sc 551: Exposed thermal fuse in the end position (end) Thermal resistance (end) detects 0°C or lower for 5 seconds. Causes:
• The melt thermistor (end) is disconnected • The drying thermistor connector (end) is faulty
sc 552: Faulty drying temperature at start-up (thermistor end))This SC is generated if the following condition occurs:• The
thermistor (end) does not detect an increase in the melting temperature of 8°C for 7.5 seconds. as soon as the
melting temperature reaches 45°C.• The temperature of the final thermistor does not reach the target temperature for 31
seconds after the melting lamp is turned on. Causes: • Warped or damaged thermistor
sc 553 : Overheat drying error 1 (software detection)The drying temperature (at the end) above 230°C (446°F) is detected in
1 second by the drying thermistors in the center or at either end of the drying roller.
Causes: • Faulty power supply • Faulty I/O board (IOB) • Faulty BICU • Missing TRIAC on the PSU (faulty PSU).
Thermistor failed.
sc 554 : Combined overtemperature error 1 (hardware detection)The drying temperature (at the end) above 250°C is
detected by the drying temperature monitoring circuit in the BICU board. Causes: • Faulty I/O (IOB) board • Faulty BICU.
sc 555 : Full-power continuous drying lamp 1After starting, the drying lamp still works at full power for 15 seconds without
the drying roller rotating. Causes: • The thermal resistors are disconnected or defective (ends) • The drying lamp is
defective, broken.
sc 620 : ADF Communication Error: Communication error between the machine and the ADFThe communication between
the machine and the ADF with the ASAP is detected. Cause: The cable is disconnected. ARDF failed. The IPU board is
faulty with external noise.
sc 622 : Paper Feed Unit Communication ErrorWhile the IOB communicates with the peripheral, the SC code is displayed if
one of the following conditions occurs. • The IOB receives the disconnect signal generated by the peripheral only after the
main switch is turned on. • The IOB receives the interrupt signal generated by the URAT. Causes: • The main control board
of the peripheral is faulty • The BICU or IOB is faulty • The peripheral is disconnected.
sc 630 : CSS communication error A communication error occurred during communication with CSS. Causes: •
Transmission error. Turn off the phone, turn it back on
sc 641: BICU (image processor) communication errorThe BICU does not respond to the frame transmitted from the
controller. Causes: • Faulty controller • BICU signal detector.
sc 650 : Remote Service Modem (Embedded RCG-M) Communication Error: Authentication Error Authentication for
Embedded RCG-M failed when dialing in connection. Causes: • Incorrect SP settings • Telephone lines disconnected •
Modem board disconnected Check and set the correct username (SP5816-156) and password (SP5816-157).
sc 669 : EEPROM ErrorThe EEPROM communication fails three times after the machine has detected the EEPROM error.
Causes: • Caused by interference.
sc 670 : The BICU copier's startup error does not meet the specified time when the machine is turned on. Causes: • The
connection between the BICU and the control panel is loose, disconnected, or damaged 1. BICU Replacement 2. Replace
the controller boar.
sc 672: Controller board communication error with panel board control panel when starting• After the machine is powered
on, the communication between the controller and the control panel is not established, or the communication with the
controller is interrupted after normal start-up. • After restarting the control panel, the attention code or attention
confirmation code will not be sent from the controller within 15 seconds. • After the controller gives a command to test the
transmission line with the controller for a period of 30 seconds, the controller does not respond twice. Causes: • The
controller is hanging • The control panel is installed incorrectly • The control panel is faulty • The control panel connector
is loose or defective • The controller does not turn off completely when you turn off the main switch. Check the settings of
SP5875-001. If the setting is set to "1 (OFF)", change the setting to "0 (ON)".
sc 687 : Memory Address Command (PER) Error The BICU does not receive a memory address command from the
controller within the specified time after the paper has reached the register sensor. Causes: • Disconnect Extraction at BICU
• Loose or damaged control board • Faulty BICU • Faulty control board.
sc 700 : Original loading error: The error of the DF lid paper cutting cake does not return to its original position. When the
semicircular motor turns on counterclockwise, the HP sensor of the paper cutting roller does not detect the main position of
the paper cutting wheel shaft. Cause:Defective slaughtering wheel roller HP sensorDefective slaughtering wheel pick-up
motorDefective DF slaughtering pin rotary board
sc 701 : Paper Cutter Error: Receiving motor driver error, semi-circular cake fault signal of the pick-up motor control IC is
confirmed when the paper jam error is given.
Cause: The Pick-up motor driver has detected the error. Cause: The driver of the slaughter wheel rotation motor has
detected an error.
Error code: 817 Screen Error This is an error that detects files and checks electronic file signatures when the boot loader
tries to read the self-diagnostic module, system kernel, or root system files from the OS Flash ROM or items on the SD card
in the control slot as incorrect. or damaged. Causes:• Faulty data ROM Flash operating system; change the control software
• Faulty SD card data; use a different SD card
sc 818: Supervisory Authority Timer ErrorThe supervisory authority timer detects an error even when the system processes
normally. Cause: The system program is faulty. The control controller is faulty. Option option failed.
sc 819 : Due to a control error, a RAM overflow occurred during system processing. One of the following messages has
been displayed on the control panel. Causes: • Faulty system program • Faulty control board • Faulty option board •
Replacement of control software. Turn the machine off and back on.
sc 820: Firmware errors. Copy the firmware.
sc 821 : Self-diagnosing errors: HDD • HDD device is busy for more than 31 seconds. • After setting a diagnostic command
for the HDD, but the device is still busy for more than 6 seconds. Causes: • Faulty hard drive • Disconnected, faulty hard
drive base • Faulty controller.
sc 824: Self-diagnostic error: NVRAM device does not exist, NVRAM device is damaged, or NVRAM socket is damaged.
Causes: • Faulty NVRAM • Faulty control board • Faulty NVRAM backup battery • Damaged NVRAM socket.
sc 828 : Self-Diagnostic Error: ROM [XXXX]: Detailed Error CodeCause: [0101] Overall Error Check 1 • The boot screen
and operating system program stored in the ROM DIMM are checked. If the program's checksum is incorrect, this SC code
will be displayed. 1. Replace the controller set.
sc 829: Error Self-Diagnosis: Optional RAM [XXXX]: Detailed Error CodeCause: [0301] Verification Error Error Detected
while recording/verification test for optional RAM (SDRAM DIMM). • Loose connection • Faulty SDRAM DIMM•

sc 858 : Hard Drive Encryption Unit Error 1A critical error occurs when data is encrypted to update the encryption key with
the HDD encryption unit.
Cause: – Error collecting encryption key: The controller could not obtain a new encryption key. • Defective control board
Replace the control board. -01 – Install the encryption key for the hard drive error: The controller cannot copy the new
encryption key to the hard drive. • The SATA chip is faulty on the controller board. -02 – NVRAM Data Encryption Error 1:
The error occurred while NVRAM data was encrypted. • NVRAM is faulty on the controller panel (controller bo) Replace
the NVRAM. -30 – NVRAM Data Encryption Error 2: The error occurred before the NVRAM data was encrypted. •
Defective control board Replace the control board. -31 – Other error: A critical error occurred while the data was encrypted.
• Same as SC991 Error report sc 859: Hard Drive Encryption Unit Error 2A critical error occurs when HDD data is
encrypted to update the encryption key with the HDD encryption unit.
Cause: -08 – Hard drive test error: The hard drive is not installed properly. • The HDD has not been installed • The hard
drive has not been formatted • The encryption key on the controller is different from the one on the HDD 1. Install the
correct hard drive. 2. Initialize the hard
drive. -09 – Power failure during data encryption: The data encryption (NVRAM and HDD) has not been completed. • Loss
of power during data encryption Hard Drive Initialization. -10 – Data Read/Write Error: DMAC error is detected two or
more times. • Same as SC863
sc 860: Hard drive boot error when main power on• HDD is connected but driver error detected. • The driver does not
respond to the hard drive within 30 seconds.
Cause : • The HDD is not initialized • The data is not readable • The HDD is faulty Initialize the HDD with SP5832-001.
Replace the hard drive with a new one.
sc 861: HDD retry failedWhen powered on, the hard drive is detected. The supply to the hard drive is interrupted after the
system has entered power saving mode, but after the hard drive is woken up from power saving mode, it does not return to
the ready state within 30 seconds.
Cause: • The link between the HDD and the control board is disconnected, faulty • The HDD power connector is
disconnected • The HDD is faulty (replace the hard drive with a new one) • The control board is faulty.
sc 862: Unable to read the hard drive (the offering drive is BAD).
Cause: Damaged hard drive (replacement of a new hard drive)
sc 863: HDD Data Reading ErrorThe data written to the hard drive cannot be read normally, due to bad components created
during operation.
Cause: • Faulty HDD Note: If bad sectors are created at the partition
images, bad sector information will be written to NVRAM and the next time the hard drive is accessed, these bad sectors
will not be accessed to perform read/write operations. Replace the hard drive with a new one.
sc 864 : Hard drive error. Replace the litter with a new one.
sc 865: Hard drive failure. Replace the new pet litter
sc 866: SD card error 1: Confirm the machine detects the in-app license error on the SD card in the control slot as soon as
the machine is turned on. The program on the SD card contains data. If the program does not contain program data, or if the
test results show that the data in the program on the SD card is incorrect, then the tested program cannot execute and this
SC code is displayed.
Cause: • Missing program in SD card • Download the appropriate program for the machine to the SD card. The SD card is
not suitable.
sc 867 : SD card error 2: SD card removed when the machine is onThe SD card in the slot is removed when the machine is
on. Cause: Insert the SD card, then turn the machine off and on.
sc 870: Address book data errorThe address book data cannot be read from the HDD hard drive, SD card, or flash ROM on
the controller where it is stored, or the read data from the faulty media.
Cause : • Faulty software: Turn the machine off/on. If this is not the solution to the problem, replace the controller
firmware. • Faulty HDD. • Perform SP5846-046 (Initialize All Additional Settings & Books) to reset all address book data. •
Reset user information with SP5832-006 (Hard Drive Format – User Information). • Replace the hard drives.
sc 872: HDD mail receives error data• The machine detects that the hard drive is not working correctly when powered on. •
The machine detects that the hard drive is not working correctly (cannot read and write) while processing incoming emails.
Cause : • The hard drive is faulty • The machine is turned off while the hard drive is being accessed. Implement SP5832-
007 to format RX mail data on the hard drive.
sc 874 : Clear all error 1: HDDThe data is detected for HDD/NVRAM after the Erase All option is used. Note: The source
of this error is DataOverwriteSecurity Unit (D362) running from an SD card.
Cause : 1. Turn the main switch off/on and try the operation again. 2. Reinstall the DataOverwriteSecurity Unit. For more,
see "Settings." 3. Faulty HDD
sc 875 : Delete all error 2: Data areaAn error occurred when the machine deleted data from the hard drive. Note: The source
of this error is DataOverwriteSecurity Unit (D362) running from an SD card.
Cause: Turn the main switch off/on and try the operation again.
sc 876: Data ErrorsErrors are detected during the processing of log data when powering on or during machine operation.
This may be caused by shutting down the machine while it is in operation.
Cause: 01 – Data Error • Corrupted data file in the hard drive Initialize the hard drive using SP5832-004. -02 – Data Error •
HDD Encoder Not Installed 1. Ask the customer's administrator to disable the HDD encryption settings using the user tool.
2. Install the HDD encoder. -03 – Error 3 • Invalid log encryption key due to faulty NVRAM data 1. Initialize the hard drive
with SP5832-004. 2. Ask the customer's administrator to disable the HDD encryption settings using the user tool. -04 – Data
Error 4 • The HDD encryption function is abnormal due to faulty NVRAM data Initialize the HDD with SP5832-004. -05 –
Data Error 5 • NVRAM or HDD installed used in another machine 1. Reinstall the previous NVRAM or HDD. 2. Initialize
the hard drive with SP5832-004.
sc 877: HDD DataOverwriteSecurity SDK card error can perform the 'clear all' function but DataOverwriteSecurity (D362)
has been installed and activated.
Cause : • Faulty SD card (D362) • SD card not installed (D362). 1. Replace the NVRAM and then insert a new SD card. 2.
Check and reinstall the SD card.
sc 899 : Software Performance ErrorIf the processing program shows abnormal performance and the program terminates
abnormally, this SC will be issued. Cause: The controller is defective. Faulty software.
SC 900 Error Message: counter counter electronic faultsum counter contains something that is not a number

sc 990 : Software Error 1The software performs an unexpected function and the program cannot continue.

sc 991 : Software Error 2The software performs an unexpected function. However, unlike the SC990, recovery processing
allows the program to continue. Cause : • Faulty software, reboot
sc 995: controller bo does not matchThe information on the control panel (controller bo) does not match the information of
the machine
Cause : 01 – • Faulty BCU • NVRAM Replacement Error 1. Install NVRAM beforehand. 2. Enter the serial number with
SP5811-003 and turn the main power switch off/on. -02 – • Faulty NVRAM • Faulty Controller 1. Update the controller
