INTRODUCTION

The Problem

Healthy habits have been less of a priority these days since access to cheap and instant

food has risen significantly. Artificial food is one of the reasons why people become less

healthy. The word “artificial” refers to the simulation of humans that is opposed to natural.

This kind of food is far more beneficial compared to natural and organic ones. For ages,

various cultures and civilizations have recognized and utilized specific chemical substances

to improve or maintain the flavor, freshness, texture, appearance, taste, or qualitative qualities

of food. The supply of nutritious and secure food will continue to be impacted by the rapid

population growth as well as the ongoing changes in taste and eating preferences.

Furthermore, Mang Jose Guava Barbecue Sauce Corp. introduces the healthy and all

organic barbecue sauce made with guava as one of the influences promoting the practice of

having a healthy lifestyle by starting with everything we put into our stomachs. Moreover, it

becomes less to feel guilty when having a barbecue party knowing that the magic making the

meat delicious is made with Mang Jose’s guava barbecue sauce.

The company does not only focuses on the benefits the product brought to its

consumer, but also consider the fact that it is more healthier if people live in a less polluted

environment. Since the ingredients of the product do not contain synthetic substances, this

means that it is less likely to pollute that contribute to environmental hazards.

In addition to that the company’s goal also is to support local economy as well as

local farmers that has plantation of guavas. Choosing to purchase goods from nearby farmers

and food producers helps the local economy. The money supports the local food system and

stays in the community, giving farmers and other small business a source of income. It also
expands the resources they can offer. The consistency of the opportunities encourages and

motivates them to continue.

Furthermore, one at a time step to reach the peak of mounting dreams and an

opportunity to contribute something beneficial not just for the consumer and economy, but

also to the environment.

Proposed Solution

Barbecue sauce is a product that has gained popularity in due to its unique taste and

nutritional benefits. However, like any other product, there are always areas for improvement.

Since guava barbecue sauce is not available in the Philippines, specifically in barangay

Tambongon, it would be beneficial to introduce new flavors and variations of barbecue sauce.

By offering a new variety of sauce, consumers can have more choices to suit their taste

preferences.

Furthermore, one of the key features of company’s guava sauce is its versatility. It can

be used as a dipping sauce for snacks, a marinade for meats, or a glaze for roasted vegetable.

Not only does the guava sauce taste amazing, but it also offers numerous health benefits.

Guavas are packed with essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, fiber, and

antioxidants. By incorporating the guava sauce into your meals, you're not only adding a

burst of flavor but also nourishing your body with wholesome nutrients.
