Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of probability theory and
statistics. Emphasis is placed on understanding basic probability models, statistical inference
techniques, and their applications in real-world scenarios.

Learning Outcomes:

Student Learning Outcomes:

1. Apply probability theory to analyze random phenomena.
2. Use statistical methods to draw conclusions from data.
3. Interpret and communicate results of statistical analyses.

Course Learning Outcomes:

1. Understand basic concepts of probability, including events, random variables, and
distributions.
2. Apply statistical techniques, including estimation and hypothesis testing, to real-world
problems.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in using statistical software for data analysis.
