CONTENT STANDARD: The learner demonstrates communicative competence through


his/ her understanding of Philippine Literature and other texts types for a deeper
appreciation of Philippine Culture.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner transfers learning by: showing ways of


asserting one’s identity; comprehending informative and short narrative texts using
schema and appropriate listening and viewing strategies; expressing ideas, opinions,
and feelings through various formats; and enriching written and spoken communication
using direct/reported speech, active/passive voice, simple past and past perfect tenses
and connectors correctly and appropriately.

COMPETENCY: Use the appropriate oral language, stance and behavior when giving
information, instructions, making explanations, and narrating events in factual and
personal recounts. EN7VC-IV-c-15

INTEGRATION:
Competency integrated within the curriculum:
 Employ the appropriate oral language and stance in an interview, a panel discussion, in

b. Differentiate oral language, stance and behavior used in
communication;
c. Use the appropriate oral language, stance and behavior when
giving information, giving instruction, making explanations
and narrating events.

III. Procedures:
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer
Student assigned for the day will lead the prayer.
2. Checking of Attendance
The secretary of the class will announce and take charge for the checking.
3. Classroom Management
The teacher welcomes the students let them maintain cleanliness and arranging
of chairs. The teacher will also ask the students regarding the classroom rules.
1. Respect and listen to the teacher and classmate.
2. Raise your hand to speak.
3. Participate actively in every classroom activity. Be honest.
4. Review of the past lesson
