collection of format points among four Engineering

Departments (i.e., Civil, EC, EP and Mechanical) discussed by

University Academic Board in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019

Academic Year.

◆ Place materials of different categories in separate appendices

e.g. Structural Engineering (Civil), thesis on numerical


method (using software) – theory in Appendix A and
resulted figures in Appendix B

◆ If only one appendix, write “Appendix” and refers its table and
figure like this. Table A.1., Figure A.1., etc.

➢ Left indent = 0.7 cm (Can adjust)

◆ No Bullet (if necessary, use dash “-”, and use in whole thesis.)

◆ Refer all figures, tables and equations in text

◆ Cite in figures and tables if it is not from your results

◆ Don’t use informal style (e.g., & instead of and)
