Attached in here is some of the school activities we have
participated with our cooperating school. Since our
culmination day at C.V Diez Memorial Elementary School
will be on 23rd day of June 2022
April 28, 2022 was the first day of our practice
teaching in C.V Diez Memorial Central Elementary
School. The school principal Mr. Nelson F. Hadji and the
teachers gave us a warm welcome. After our orientation
with the school principal we took a group picture. We are
all 27 teaching interns and the school principal said it
would be challenging to handle a bunch of interns.

good and effective educator in the near future.
The school had a holy mass. The priest said that he
was full of gratitude to see us teaching interns attend the
holy mass. It was a great opportunity to attend a holy
mass and we are so blessed. May the Lord bestow
wisdom and enlighten our hearts and minds. We pray for
his love, compassion and guidance as we take the path
of Practice Teaching.
One of the best experiences we had as teaching
interns is performing the Galaw Pilipinas. After some
couple of days of dance practice, we have a video shoot
with the teachers, school principals of district 4, and with
the beloved public schools Superintendent. The video
shoot was done at the Battle Strait of Surigao located in
Lipata. It was very fun and we enjoyed this opportunity.

SCHOOL
April 28-June 09, 2022
Brgy. Mat-I, Surigao City

Last April 28, 2022 our internship started, and we were

assigned in Mat-I Central Elementary School. During our first two days
in the School; we were asked by the principal to join their activity
which is the Dancing of Galaw Pilipinas, so we had practice together
with their faculty members, friday, afternoon, we presented the dance
and that concluded our Galaw Pilipinas performance in MAT-ICES.
The Principal also assigned us to our cooperating teachers/Grade
levels during that day. The following days, our cooperating teachers
let us experience teaching, but before that, they gave us topics to be
discussed, activities or quizzes to be conducted and they also shared
ideas about their pupils— on who among the learners needs more
attention, or who among all of them are very naughty— they also
shared strategies/techniques about how they handle such learners for
us also to apply during our classes.

From that day on, the practice teachers started to make the things
needed for our final demonstrations such as; Detailed Lesson Plans
— which was checked by our cooperating teachers. The instructional
Materials needed were also made within the whole week, however it
was actually very challenging with Practice teacher’s side because at
the same week of the preparations we were also conducting classes
with the assigned sections.
May 23-26, 2022, we finally had our Grand Teaching
demonstrations that were graded by our Cooperating teacher and

given to us. After the week of demonstration we had our second

DAY 1 - CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

As you can see in Day 1 of Classroom Management, the students, or should I say
the webinar participants, did learn from the discussion and what they learned during
the webinar was how to calculate and add grades to students. The information
shared in the webinar assists students in developing ideas for effective student
management. The impact of rules and routine on their behavior, as well as how
we, teacher, can assist them in shaping and developing positive behavior. This is an
extremely efficient discipline.
And there are a lot of students who say "Yes" when asked if it is related to their
future. Of course, yes, because we are future educators who must be proficient.

We've realized that teaching entails being a role model for students. The most
important takeaways from the webinar were the principles that must be instilled when
working as a teacher. It was extremely helpful in considering various issues, such as
what behaviors or attitudes should be enforced and how we will teach our students
proper behavior and manners. Values education is important because it informs
students and teachers about the different types of values that should be practiced.

At the end of each school year, one of the most important activities
is the preparation and checking of school forms, which is done to ensure the quality
and consistency of learner information (SY). We discovered that a teacher has a
great deal of technical knowledge and responsibilities. Teaching is a noble
profession, especially when considering the responsibility of handling various DepEd
forms. It is also critical for us to master and be familiar with the various school forms
as an aspiring teacher. It should practice on how to fill out those forms properly and
what inputs to include. The information must also be current so that my work with
DepEd school forms is not hampered.
