(4)Types of stresses depend on the direction of forces affect on.

(5)In thermal stress the temp will be changed. (6)Electrical force may be attractive or repulsive.

(7)Relation bet electric field strength&potential difference. (8)Factors affect on capacitance of capacitor.

(9)How electrical conductivity (σ) related to electrical resistivity(ρ) (10)Negative pressure.

(11)(Ө)angle of contact>90. (12) Gases called compressible fluid. (13) Steady fluid.

(14) No two stream lines can cross each other. (15) Strain has no unit.

V-Solve the following problems: (20marks)
1- How does the frequency f of a simple pendulum depend on the mass m, the length ℓ of the string,
and the acceleration due to gravity g?

2-The action of chewing involves a third-class lever system. Figure 4

shows the jaw and chewing muscle and the lever diagram. In the lever
diagram M is the force supplied by the chewing muscles that close the jaw
about the fulcrum F. W is the force exerted by the front teeth. If

l2= 311 and W = 100 N, find M.

3-A compressive force of 5 x 104 N is sufficient to break the human femur bone. If the bone has cross-
sectional area of 3 cm2, calculate the compressive strength (compressive stress) and the resulting strain
of the bone. (E = 0.9 x 1010 N/m2)

4-A parallel plate capacitor consists of two metal discs separated by a distance 4 mm in air.
If the radius of each disc is 5 cm, find the capacitance of such capacitor and the charge
on its plate.if the potential difference=100V.
