Lesson Plan TLE Grade 7 Family and Consumer Science (FCS) 3rd Quarter
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of the hospitality and tourism industry.
B. Performance Standards The learners apply skills in food preparation and services following safety precautions.
C. Learning Competencies Learning Competency: Demonstrate table napkin folds
and Objectives At the end of the lesson/s, the learners will be able to:
a. define what is table napkin folds,
b. execute the steps in table napkin fold, and
c. give the importance of table napkin folds in table settings.
E. Integration
Mathematics: The use of Geometric shapes and angles in creating various napkin folds.
Arts and Design: Napkin folding as an art form, exploring symmetry, shapes, and pattern.
By integrating the topic of the table napkin folds across these subjects, students can gain
multidisciplinary understanding that combines practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
