Basic Pay of selected candidates will be fixed in the appropriate stage in the selected scale as above depending on qualification, exposure and experience the candidate possess. DA, HRA, CCA will be paid as per rules of the Bank in force from time to time depending upon the place of posting. Medical Aid, Hospitalization Scheme, Leave Fare Concession, retirement benefits and other perquisites will be admissible as per Banks rules. 3. Probation Period Selected candidates will be on probation for a minimum continuous period of one year.

4. Eligibility Criteria (a) Age Limit as on 01.11.2011 Assistant Manager Manager & Senior Manager Not more than 28 years as on 01.11.2011 (Candidates should be born on or after 01.11.1983) Not more than 30 years as on 01.11.2011 (Candidates should be born on or after 01.11.1981)

(b) Educational Qualifications Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks from any recognized University or other institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956. Note: Graduation course or equivalent examination must entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Graduation in Agriculture means those who have passed a 10+2+4 year course. Graduation in Engineering means those who have passed a 10+2+4 year course . Graduation in Law means those who have passed 10+2+5 year course in law or degree in any subject + 3 year course in Law. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be based on the practice followed by the University/Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the University/Institution from where they have obtained the degree. In case the University/Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by the Bank by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Minimum percentage of marks prescribed for the examination is not allowed to be rounded off. (For example: a candidate who secured only 59.99% of marks for graduation is not eligible). (c) Work Experience Assistant Manager The candidates should have minimum experience of one year in any scheduled commercial bank in officer / clerical cadre as on 01.11.2011. The candidates should have minimum experience of two years in any scheduled commercial bank in officer cadre as on 01.11.2011. The candidates should have minimum experience of three years in any scheduled commercial bank in officer cadre as on 01.11.2011.

(d) Place of Domicile/ Languages known The Bank has already expanded its foot-print and is planning for further expansion especially in the states of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhrapradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarath, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, North Eastern states etc. The candidates selected are to initially assume positions in these areas. Hence knowledge of language, custom and practices of any of these areas is a pre-requisite. 5. Mode of Selection Selection will be based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The process will be conducted at various centres viz. Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati and other centers, depending upon the number of candidates. Only the short-listed candidates will be called for group discussion/ interview. Short-listing will be done by taking into consideration the various attributes like qualifications/ additional qualifications, experience etc.. The Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the group discussion/ interview after preliminary screening/ short-listing as aforesaid. 6. How to Apply Eligible candidates have to apply online through the Banks website only. No other means/mode of application are acceptable. The application format should be filled in English only. Before registering their applications on the website, candidates should note/possess the following: (i) An e-mail id which shall be valid for the duration of the recruitment process. In case the candidate does not have a valid e-mail id, he/she has to create a new email id before applying online. (ii) If a candidate is eligible and desires to apply for more than one post, he/she should apply separately for each post. (iii) Applications can be registered online by logging on to our Banks website www.federalbank.co.in and follow the link careers. Then click Current OpeningsRecruitment for OFFICERS in JMGSI / MMGSII/ MMGS-III. Then click apply online. Then online application will open. Fill up all the details required in the application and click Submit available at the bottom of the online application and the online application will be registered. If the application is accepted a Roll Number and Password will appear for the online registration immediately on the screen . An e-mail incorporating the Roll number and password will be sent to the e-mail id of the applicant within 3 days from the date of successful registration. (iv) Candidates are advised to keep their particulars of educational qualifications and other personal details ready before applying as these details are required to fill in the online application form. (v) Candidates are required to take printout of the online application using the above roll number and password. Candidates shall retain the printout of the online application with them. There is a provision to modify the submitted online application. Candidates can make use of this facility to correct the details in the online application, if required. This modification facility shall be available only upto 28.12.2011, 5.00 PM and modification will be allowed up to a maximum of 3 times only.

General Instructions 1. Before filling the online application form, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility criteria with respect to age, educational qualifications, experience etc. in respect of the post for which he/she is making the application and that the particulars furnished in the application form are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility criteria, and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after the appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated. 2. Decision of the Bank in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, the documents to be produced for the purpose of conduct of Group Discussion, Interview, Selection etc. and any other matter relating to recruitment will be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained by the Bank in this regard. 3. Mere eligibility will not vest any right / entitlement on the candidate for being called for group discussion/ interview. The shortlisting of applications will be done at the sole discretion of the Bank. 4. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standard, etc., in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for group discussion/ interview commensurate with the number of vacancies. 5. Eligible candidates have to appear for Group Discussion and Interview/s at their own expense at the venue and date notified by the Bank. 6. Candidates are required to apply only online through the link provided on the Banks website which will lead them to the online application form. The system generated printout of the application should be retained by the candidate. Candidate need not send the printout of the application form to the Bank. It will be required to be produced at the time of Group Discussion and interview. Candidates should possess copies of recent passport size colour photograph for pasting on the system generated online application printout. 7. Valid proof of identity such as PAN card/Passport/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Permanent Identity Card issued by the present employer or any other valid proof of identification with a photograph should be produced at the time of Group Discussion/ interview to be conducted by the Bank. 8. Candidates have to produce all the requisite certificates/documents in original with Xerox copies for verification at the time of Group Discussion/Interview along with a copy of the system generated print out of the application. Failure to do so shall lead to disqualification of the candidate. 9. Candidates are also liable to be transferred anywhere in India or abroad as per the administrative requirements & discretion of the Bank.

10. Any request for change of address/change of centre for Group Discussion/Interview shall not be entertained. 11. The Bank has the right to reject any application/candidature at any stage without assigning any reason and the decision of the Bank shall be final. 12. Appointments of selected candidates will be subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the Banks Medical Officer, satisfactory report about his/her character and antecedents by appropriate authorities and completion of all other pre recruitment formalities to the complete satisfaction of the Bank. Further, such appointment shall also be subject to Service and Conduct Rules of the Bank. 13. The access to the Banks website could be delayed towards the closing date for submitting the online registration due to heavy internet traffic. So the candidates are advised to avoid last minute rush and make use of the time span available for submitting the applications online. Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit on line applications well before the last date. 14. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. ***********
