A. Sectors of ICT

Computer Programming- is like giving Codey step-by-step instructions, so it knows exactly what to do. These instructions are
written in code, which is a special language that computers understand.

 Creating apps and games: Creating helpful and fun apps, like games, calculators, or drawing tools.
 Building websites: Designing cool websites with pictures, videos, and interactive elements.

Visual arts- They entertain us, inform us, and inspire us. Whether you enjoy watching animated movies, reading illustrated books, or
browsing beautifully designed websites, you're experiencing the power of visual arts.

Computer system servicing- is like being a doctor for computers. It involves taking care of the computers and making sure they work
properly.

 Installing and setting up computers: This is like unboxing a new toy and putting the batteries in so it can start working.
 Setting up computer networks: Computers need to be on the same network to share information.
 Setting up computer servers: Servers are like big, powerful computers that store lots of information and let other computers
access it.
 Maintaining and repairing computers: Computer system servicing involves fixing these problems so the computer can work
properly again.

Telecommunication- It’s like sending secret messages from one friend to another, no matter how far apart you are. You can use it to
talk on the phone, send emails, or watch funny cat videos on the internet.

II. ENABLING FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES (EFAA)

Essay Type. Among the four questions below choose one and answer it in a ½ sheet of paper. (10 pts.)

Computer Programming

In computer programming, computer programmers are the masterminds behind the code. They create, test, and improve
software to make our lives easier and more enjoyable. Here are some exciting job opportunities for computer programmers:

 Game developer: Design and create amazing video games that entertain millions of people.

 Web developer: Build and maintain websites for businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Bringing stories to life with motion! Ani's work is essential for making movies, cartoons, video games, and even those funny animated GIFs you see
online.

Izzy the Illustrator: Izzy is a master storyteller with pictures! He uses pencils, paints, or even computer programs to create beautiful and expressive
images that capture your imagination. His drawings can be funny, scary, heartwarming, or thought-provoking.

Making the invisible visible! Izzy's work can transport you to fantastic worlds, teach you new things, or simply make you smile.

Gary the Graphic Designer: Gary is a communication whiz! He uses words, images, and colors to create designs that grab your attention and make
you think. He's the one who designs logos for your favorite brands, eye-catching posters, and user-friendly websites.

Gary carefully arranges different elements to create a visually appealing and effective design. His superpower: Making messages stick! Gary's work
helps businesses communicate with their customers and makes information easier to understand.

Computer System Servicing

As for careers, if you learn computer system servicing, you can become a Computer Service Technician, Network
Technician, or a Computer Maintenance Technician. These are people who build computers, fix them, set up networks, and keep them running
smoothly:

 Computer Service Technician: This is like a doctor for computers. They diagnose and fix problems with computers and related devices. This
could involve installing software, fixing hardware issues, and helping users with their computer problems.

 Network Technician: This role is like a road builder for the internet. They set up the networks that computers use to communicate with each other.
This could involve setting up routers and switches, troubleshooting network problems, and ensuring the network is secure.

 Computer Maintenance Technician: This is like a mechanic for computers. They perform regular check-ups on computers to make sure they’re
working properly. This could involve updating software, replacing old hardware, and optimizing the computer for better performance.

Telecommunication
Contact Center as a superhero headquarters. This is where all the calls, emails, and messages from different places come in. The superheroes
(agents) use their supercomputers to make sure they can answer all the questions and solve all the problems

Call Center Agent as the person who answers the phone when you call a company to ask about your favorite toy or game. They help answer your
questions and solve any problems you might have. There are two types of these agents:

1. Outbound Agents are like your friends who start the game of “telephone”. They call people to tell them about new toys or games that they might
like.

2. Inbound Agents are the friends who listen to the message you pass in the game. They answer calls and help people who have questions or
