The company provides best services to customer for the paint and company is introducing new
unit of protective gloves used in paint and process industry. The PPE and paint section have very
good business opportunities.

2.3 Target product description
Types of PPE and uses
It can include items such as safety helmets, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety
footwear and safety harnesses. It also includes respiratory protective equipment (RPE).

Due to high exposure to paint related chemicals, the workers use the safety gloves. These are
mostly high frequency used item and are costly. So, company decided to installed its own unit for
the safety gloves. This will help to save revenue and on time supply of gloves.

Description = The paint industrial safety is at worst condition; one can notice the hazards easily
at many points. The complete hazard study of the industry is conducted and it is recommended in
the hazard study to reduce the hazards and risks for the safety of the industry and employees. The
safety of industrial unit and its work force is very important factor in any process industry. The
work force and employees are considered to be the potential assert of the industry. For the safety
of work force and employees it is very important to introduce the PPE project. The PPE project
will not only improve the safety of industrial unit but also the improve the work performance of
employees. This project will improve the moral of the employees. The overall the production of
industrial unit will be increased. Moreover, it is requirement of HSE to adhere to industrial PPE
program. So, it is very important to initiate the PPE program and this PPE project. The buying of
gloves for the employees costs a huge amount. It is high frequency used item.so it is recommended
to install the safety rubber gloves unit. This will ensure the continuous supply o gloves to the
employees and sales of these gloves to external market will generate revenue for the industry.

How AIRTABLE is used for the sequencing and scheduling


The Airtable is online scheduling software, the base gloves project is created on it. Then in the
project the participants and responsible project people are entered in a table with their contact
information and programs. The new project is created in the new table with WBS information and
program. Then new table is created with their tasks on WBS. These tasks have the start and end
date with calculated duration. Then these tasks are assigned (linked)to the responsible people on
the participants table. In the WBS table the rollup is calculated. The pictures and documents of the

project are attached to the WBS. The tasks are assigned to the WBS(linked) of the project by
linking them. The name of the project in the task activities are linked from WBS of project(linked).
At the end the Gantt chart is created for the activities. The tasks are given status according and by
the links. The documents and pictures can be seen using the gallery view.
Terms and abbreviations
IPC = instrument and process control -it is electronic instrument circuit
PPE personal protection equipment’s
Test drive= the first running of machine under testing
Rotation speed = the rotation speed to motor or impeller
Process time= time taken to complete the process
Trouble shooting= The problems during the running and processing of machine
Gears= used to drive motor
Motor= it is electrical instrument which rotated and drive other equipment
Frame= it is the base structure on which the assembly takes place
Emergency switch= it is emergency shut down switch
Electricity panel= it is a panel, which contains the switches and knobs, it controls the equipment.
Sign boards= these are the boards, which contains the precaution signs
Safety marking= it is marking on the floor for the safety and guidance
Mill sizing= it is the needed dimensions of the equipment or mill.
Unit operation= it is the process in the industry, which do not involve the chemical reaction.
