IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MATATAG K TO 10 CURRICULUM
II. Objective(s):
a. Understand the current knowledge
b. Identify key areas that the students want to know and learn
IV. Instructions:
Write down everything you already learned in the past lessons and the concept they want to know
about target games.
II. Objective(s): Ensure to apply knowledge from the discussion in to prior knowledge.
III. Materials Needed: hand-made dart, flashcards, tape or chalk to mark the throwing line.
IV. Instructions:
Preparation
1. The teacher will group the students.
2. The students will help the teacher prepare all the activity set-up.
3. The teacher will explain the mechanics of the game.
4. Groups will fall-in-line and stand one or two meters away from the target area.
Mechanics
1. Each group needs to identify what targeted games are individual-based or team-based.
2. Each student will have a chance to take turns to throw the hand-made dart to the
flashcard that they think falls under the individual-based or team-based target games.
3. The group needs to take note of target games that they were able to hit.
4. Each group will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to conduct the activity.
5. The group that gets the greatest number of right answers within the allotted time, wins.

II. Objective(s): To score points by knocking down as many pins as possible using a softball or
tennis ball. Students will practice their aim, coordination, and teamwork skills while having
fun.
IV. Instructions:
1. Each team member will take turns in playing or they can have individual play.
2. Each team takes turns rolling the soft bowling ball towards the pins from behind the
throwing line.
3. The team that has the most points within five rounds, wins.
II. Objective(s): Applying unopposed target games principles and concept in developing
essential skills, habit, and mindset that contribute to our day-to-day activities.
IV. Instructions:
Choose at least three 3 concepts or principles of target games that you can relate to your personal
growth. Write your answer inside the box.
Example: Aiming is the ability to project and hit the target by applying an amount of force.
As a grade 7 student my goal in life is to finish my studies and ensure quality outputs in my
studies. I’m focus and directed to learn and to grow about myself to achieve success.
II. Objective(s): The aim of this game is for teams to get around a golf course set up with cones,
flags, and hoops by throwing a Frisbee the least number of shots.
IV. Instructions:
1. Take turns and count the number of throws it takes to get the Frisbee from the tee and
into the hoop.
2. The aim is for the team to get around the course with the least number of throws.
II. Objective(s): The aim is to get three bean bags into different hoops to make a straight line
before the other team does.
IV. Instructions:
1. The objective is to throw or bowl the ball into the hoops.
2. If successful, the player at the end places their team’s bean bag in the hoop and rolls the
ball back.
3. If the other team lands the ball in the same hoop, they can choose to place their team’s
bean bag in that hoop.
4. Turns continue until one team makes a straight or diagonal line with their bean bags.
5. Replace the players at the hoop end and begin again.
II. Objective(s): Promotes physical activity, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking.
Provides opportunities for friendly competition, teamwork, and improving targeting skills.
IV. Instructions:
1. Divide into two teams. All playing teams will stand at the center of the playing area. The
opposing team will stand at the opposite sides of the playing area.
2. Opposing team must try to eliminate the players by targeting them using a ball while the
playing team tries to avoid the ball by running back and forth.
3. If the ball touches the body of the playing team it is considered out.
4. A player who catches a thrown ball can bring one of their teammates back into the game.
The game continues until all players have been eliminated.
II. Objective(s): The students are able to reflect their learnings and performance both mentally
and physically.
IV. Instructions:
