- Ss review words related to the topic school things

- Ss review old structures: What's this? What are these? What do you have? What do you
see?

4. Vocabulary:
- Ss review words: pencil, ruler, pen, board, book, eraser, crayon, sharpener, pencil case,
notebook.

5. Useful language: English + Vietnamese

6. Time: 60 mins

PROCEDURE CONTENT TIME STEP


10 minutes _ T asks sts several questions: What’s your name? How
WARM - UP do you spell your name? What colour is the cat? What

do you see? What animal do you like?.

MAIN PART “pencil, ruler, pen, board, book, eraser, crayon,


sharpener, pencil case, notebook”
- T writes the topic on the board.
REVIEW OLD 20 minutes - T repeat the topic 3 times. Then Ss repeat 3 times and
LESSON spell the topic.
- T shows Ss a fc (pencil) and repeat 3 times. Ss guess
its meaning. Then, T confirms the meaning.
- Then T says "pencil" 3 times in the left, right and
center and asks everyone to say louder together. Then, T
guides them to pronounce this word individually.
- T takes some Ss spell this word and let them all spell
this word.
- T continue with ruler, pen, board, book in order.
- T review all the words before playing game.
- The class will be divided into 2 teams.
10 minutes - T will write school things in words on the board, draw
a rectangular next to them, and mix the FCs up.
- T whispers a word to S who stands in the last. And Ss
GAME:
have to whisper to the next S. The last S will find the
Whisper
corresponding FC and stick it on the right word and say
it out loud.
- With a correct word, they get 1 point.

_ T asks Ss to write old structure on the board.


10 minutes _ T sticks the FCs in the blanks and ask Ss. Then, picks
couples of Ss to role-play the structure.

_ T shows pictures and questions.


GAME 15 _ Ss write the answers on their own boards.
WRITING minutes _ The scores will be counted in ppt.

WRAP UP 5 - Ss watch a video and guess what sport it is.
