Abstract
The aim of this project is to computerized the existing manual system and help the
examiners to save their valuable time and important data. Apart from this, data which
are exist in this system, will exist for long period of time and will be easy accessible.
This project helps the examiners to manage their services in a good way and provide a
better service to their users. The ‘Quiz Application’ project will be developed to
overcome the time consuming problem of manual system. Apart from that in current
system, checking the answer sheets after taking test, waste the examiners time, so this
application will check the correct answer and save the examiner time and carry the
examination in an effective manner. The users which are use this system don’t need to
high computing knowledge and also system will inform them while entering invalid
data. A simple Quiz App that contains a group of curated questions and their answers
and checks for the correctness of the solution given by the user. It navigates through the
questions using dynamic programming. Development of Android-based Quiz
application is especially required by students and learners to organize themselves for
various examinations directly through Smart-Phones and tablets in hands.

The most aim of this project is to facilitate students in learning, gaining,


and improving their knowledge skills. Within the meantime, our app provides them fun
so the users can steel themselves against interviews, entrance tests, or the other
corresponding purposes in a very fresh mood and can’t get bored or frustrated because
to the dullness of the applying. We designed the application to facilitate the users to be
able to take short quizzes using portable devices likes smartphones and tablets. Android
is software that is built basically for Mobile phones. It's supported by the Linux Kernel
and other open-source software and is developed by Google. Android is very popular
nowadays among students and students are now choosing Android for his or her
projects.

Chapter-1

 Introduction:

The ‘Quiz Application’ project will be developed to overcome the time


consuming problem of manual system. Apart from that in current system, checking the
answer sheets after taking test, waste the examiners time, so this application will check the
correct answer and save the examiner time and carry the examination in an effective
manner. The users which are use this system don’t need to high computing knowledge and

This project helps the examiners to manage their services in a good way and
provide a better service to their users. The main objective of “Quiz” is to facilitate a user
friendly environment for all users and reduces the manual effort. In past days’ quiz is
conducted manually but in further resolution of the technology we are able to generate the
score and pose the queries automatically. The functional requirements include to create
users that are going to participate in the quiz, automatic score and report generation and
administrative tasks like add, delete, update for admin privilege users. In this application,
all the permissions lie with the administrator i.e., specifying the details of the quiz with
checking result will show to interviewee or not, addition of question and answers, marks
for each question, set timer for each quiz and generate report with score for each quiz.
Chapter-2

 Literature Survey:
Android is rapidly getting famous, and therefore the number of its
users are increasing day by day, because it's easy to access the required
Android-based apps on tablets and smartphones. Therefore, we found the use
of the Android App is less complicated and longer efficient to facilitate the
users during this way with none difficulty. Applications and widgets

Architecture reduces the time of development and can reduce the quantity of
memory that is required by the appliance. It’s greatly important for a beginner
to create baby Android apps to learn Android. The evolution of today's mobile
devices increases the quantity of mobile applications developed and among
them the quiz applications.
Chapter-3
 Proposed methodology of solving the identified problem with action plan:
The title of our project is “Develop Quiz App using Java and
Android Compiler”. First we got instructions from our project guide about topic
selection. Then we searched many topics. After discussion with group members and
project guide we selected this topic. Next, we collected all the information required for
our project. Then we create the rough planning of work to be done by each member
during project development. The Project of leaving will be develop according to Project
Management Methodology (PMM) which is based on generally recognized project
management principles in order to improve how information systems projects are
managed and delivered. In order to improve the efficiency of the work in daily life, we
adopt the office automation (OA) system to assist the management and service. By the
effective functions and automatic management with the system software, the daily works
runs well, the working efficiency get improve. Then we discussed about data flow and
control flow of our project. We have studied every project module clearly. We shall
create mainly two panels first one is admin panel and second is user panel. Then we
shall include categories so that user can upload documents according category. User
must have been registered if not then it should create account. Then we shall provide
different options like print download and save. The automation system uses both
hardware as well as software solutions that will ease your workload. It is so effective and
simple that it may activate options inside the software which you already have but don’t
cost much. An office automated systems examples can be used to explain this. We also
see the different website using internet and also see you-tube video for better
understanding, and prepare Proposal, power point presentation. Diary of this given
project.
