CAMP IMPLEMENTATION MODALITIES

In order to have great camping experience the following measures should be put in place:

1. Local organizing committee.


2. Fund raising committee.
3. Debate panel: Comprising of 3 or 5 impartial judges.
4. Scavenger hunt: This is basically an activity for each team. Each team will have
different activities which they will be engaged in throughout the camping period.
They will present their final discovery during the varieties night. This scavenger
hunt involve clues that will lead them to where the activity is. The clues are
scripture based. The activities will come from the Area office.
5. Camp monitoring team: this team will be responsible for the following:
i. Campers and teams assessment daily.
ii. Take attendance at every session and award marks for attendance. Any team
member missing at the time of taking attendance makes such team to lose a
mark.
iii. Conduct checks during bible studies and seminars to be sure every team
member is around and award marks also.
iv. Follow up team chores for the day and award marks.
v. Cumulate the scores and give final score on variety night and give award to
the best team.
vi. The award might be something they can consume in the camp amongst team
members. It can be a cartoon of biscuit, a pack of sweets or anything edible
that will just motivate team members or an added meal or meat depending on
the capacity of the zone. This is just to encourage young people for being
orderly.

Debate stages: General stage, knock out stage and final stage.
