As a student studying in Malang who lives alone.
of course I have to get used to being inde-
pendent and good at managing my time between studying, sports, praying, and playing with
friends. for the beginning of course I had a lot of problems managing my time. but thank God
I was finally able to deal with that, I also like to help people because helping people makes
me happy.
When I was little, I often followed my uncle who was a doctor. At that time I was also
amazed to see him because he was a doctor who was very kind and friendly to his patients.
My uncle is a very caring person like paying for his family’s schooling educations and spend-
ing on his siblings what they needs want, he was also a humble and disciplined person. that's
what motivated me to become a doctor like him.
I also have several families who work as doctors, which makes me even more motivated to
become a doctor. After I complete my undergraduate education, I would like to continue my
aspirations to pursue a master's degree as a neurosurgeon.The field of neurosurgery is one of
greatest interest to me because it provides a direct opportunity to cure complex disorders of
the nervous system, which can significantly improve the quality of life of the patients.The
profession also offers extensive opportunities for professional development, by continuously
learning and developing an understanding of the latest innovations in neuroscience research
and treatment.
According to the information I got, there are still no neurosurgeons in my city, so the patients
who need a neurosurgeon have to go to the city of Surabaya which of course requires a long
travel time and extra costs, of course this makes me concerned about the people who have to
leave the city for treatment. seeing this certainly makes me want to become a neurosurgeon
so that people in my city don't have to go far for treatment.
That's why I chose Airlangga University to do my bachelor's degree. I have always wanted to
study at Airlangga University because it is one of the best universities in Indonesia and also
has a very good faculty of medicine, so that it can fulfill my dreams as a doctor.
I chose the International Bachelor's Program at Unair because I believe it is of high quality
and provides strong support to achieve my goal of becoming a doctor. The experience of
learning in an international environment and meeting various professionals from various
countries and improving my English skills made me very interested in this program. I believe
Unair's modern facilities are very supportive for me to develop my abilities and potential to
the fullest. These factors make me confident to choose the International Ungraduate Program
at Unair because it can realize my aspirations as a doctor. Of course, I also chose IUP
Medicine because it fits perfectly with the goals I want to achieve, which is to help people in
my city get treatment without having to leave the city.
I always believe that opportunities don't come twice and should be grabbed whenever they
present themselves. With this belief, I would like to take the opportunity to pursue my dreams
and continue my educational journey as a student at Universitas Airlangga.
