Nemo Analyze is a powerful and versatile, cutting-edge analysis tool for performing benchmarking,
troubleshooting, and statistical reporting based on drive test data. Nemo Analyze is a desktop tool that
incorporates an innovative, low-maintenance database engine that has been designed and optimized
specifically for high-performance post-processing of drive test data. Nemo Analyze helps you to
streamline your processes by enabling you to automate the entire data processing chain from a drive test
to an open workbook with analysis results.
Nemo Analyze offers a comprehensive set of technology-specific Key Performance Indicators for the
latest wireless technologies and a wide range of data views that are known to offer the best visualization
of drive test data on the market – yet it is highly cost-effective, easy to set up and to use, and it scales to
meet the needs of organizations of all sizes.
Nemo Analyze offers support for all major wireless technologies, including 5G NR (both scanner and UE
measurements), LTE-A CA, NB-IoT, LTE-M, VoLTE/ViLTE, VoWiFi, and mMIMO. Nemo Analyze
supports all the Nemo product line test tools. Measurement data in CSV (Character-Separated Value)
ASCII format is also supported.

March 2024
Nemo Analyze 10.1.1 introduces improvements to handling inbuilding measurements and the floorplans.
Second major enhancement relates to the conversion tools used for migrating custom content from
version 8.92 to the new database versions 10.x.
With the 10.1.1 release we continue to introduce enhancements also to the query performance and
update the Nemo file format to 2.56.
Note!
Existing databases up to version 8.9x cannot be migrated to the new database, so if you are
upgrading from 8.92 or older version, you must reload the measurement data from the original
files when starting to use the new version (10.0 and newer). Also, any custom-made content will
need to be converted for new versions before they can be used.
If you are migrating from version 8.9x (or older), carefully read the section “Upgrade from
versions 8.9x and older”.

Note Details
If the computer, where Nemo Analyze 10 or newer is installed, had a
previous PostgreSQL installation, it is likely that it will interfere with the
Nemo Analyze database initiation. To overcome this issue, a modification
Previously installed PostgreSQL
must be made in the PATH environment variable. The Nemo Analyze
may cause issues with Nemo
related Postgres binary entry “C:\Program Files\Keysight\Nemo
Analyze database initiation
Analyze\pgsql\bin” should be moved higher in the list than the possible
other PostgreSQL entry (for example “C:\Program
Files\PostgreSQL\15\bin”)

When saving reports to PDF, they do not scale well and cause blank
pages in the result PDF. This is because many of the pre-defined reports

are not optimized for such exports. If there is a need to export to PDF, it
should be considered when designing the reports.
On some computers, maps are not correctly generated for reports.
Instead, a blue or black background is drawn for the area. This

If a user copies an event in Event Scheduler, deletes it, and then
Pasting a deleted event in the
Event Scheduler causes a crash tries to paste it to Event Scheduler, a crash may occur. Copy and
paste works fine if the event is not deleted before paste.
Display scaling for text and apps It has been noted that on some computers, the display scaling
should be set to 100% when affects how the report design looks compared to the final
designing server reports with map generated report. To avoid such a problem, the display scaling
plots should be set to 100%.
- Note that Nemo Analyze can also read newer files than the ones mentioned above, however, the
new information elements are discarded.
Note that not all metrics and events from TEMS files are supported. Missing metrics and events may be
added in future versions where applicable.
Nemo Analyze can also typically read newer files, but there may be changes that prevent file loading.

Installation
First-time installation
Installation must be run under Administrator account or other user account with administrative
privileges.
Install Nemo Analyze 10.1.1 by running the setup. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard. Restart the
computer after installation if required by the setup wizard.
Currently, direct upgrade from versions 8.9x and older is not supported, because we want the user to be
aware of the change and be sure about migrating to the new database technology.
There are conversion tools provided to help in the migration process. The custom report templates,
workbooks and custom queries can be converted using these tools. The Nemo Analyze User Guide
explains the conversion process in the section “Installing Nemo Analyze”. If further assistance is needed,
please reach out to the Nemo Customer Support.
We highly recommend installing the new version first on another computer, so that the
functionality can be evaluated before making the final migration to new version.
In order to upgrade, the previous version must be completely removed before installing the new version.
This means that in addition to the uninstallation of the previous version, all related registry entries, folder
content related to the old version and such should also be removed. The C:\Nemo Tools\Nemo Analyze
and C:\Nemo Tools\Nemo Analyze Datastore (default paths, if installed to different location, the paths
should be changed accordingly) folders should be backed up to some other location.
Installation must be run under Administrator account or other user account with administrative
privileges.
1. Uninstall the previous version of Nemo Analyze from Control Panel Add or Remove programs, NOT by
running the Nemo Analyze 10.1.1 setup. Restart the computer if required by the setup wizard.
