V. RATIONALE:
March is celebrated as National Women's Month in various countries
worldwide to observe International Women's Day. The National Women's
Month Celebration in 2024 will continue to focus on the recurring theme "WE
for gender equality and inclusive society" introduced in 2023. This theme aims
to renew our commitment to advocating for gender equality and building an
inclusive society. The 2016-2022 theme "WE Make CHANGE Work for
Women" emphasized the significance of establishing compassionate and
harmonious networks to promote gender equality and women's empowerment.
Building on the achievements and progress made under the previous theme,
the 2024 National Women's Month Celebration will strive to further enhance
the efforts towards achieving gender equality and empowering women.
The following issuances serve as legal bases for the annual activity.
