Adverting to the subject cited, I have to submit that the work “Widening and
Strengthening of existing intermediate lane/two lane to two lane with paved shoulders
from km 678+555 to km 699+655 of Nirmal to Khanapur section of NH 61 Extended- in the
state of Telangana under NH (O) through EPC mode” was sanctioned by the Ministry of
Road Transport & Highways vide reference 1 st cited and the appointed date was declared
on 09.09.2020 with a stipulated period of completion as 24 months and the EOT is
recommended upto 15-04-2024.
In this connection, it is to submit that the Integrated Regional Office, Hyderabad,
Ministry of Environment Forests & Climate change (MOEF&CC), GOI vide reference 2 nd cited has
accorded in-principle (Stage-I) approval for diversion of forest land of 13.495Ha and also the
Integrated Regional Office, Hyderabad, MOEF&CC,GOI has given CORRIGENDUM vide reference
3rd cited to the earlier Stage-I approval for revised forest land diversion of 13.6417Ha and also the
Integrated Regional Office, Hyderabad, Ministry of Environment Forests & Climate change
(MOEF&CC), GOI has accorded the stage-II approval for the above mentioned project vide
reference 4th cited.
Further, it is to inform that the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests, Hyderabad
has communicated the Telangana Government order vide reference 6 th cited based on the
stage-II approval accorded by the IRO has communicated the final stage-II approval vide
reference 5th cited stating that “The User Agency shall Publish the entire forest clearances granted
in verbatim along with the condition and safe-guards imposed by the Central government in two
widely circulated daily news paper one is vernacular language and the other in English granted to
the project proponent for the use of forest land for the nonforest purposes”as per the MoEF&CC,
Gol instructions issued vide F.no.7-23-2012-FC, dt.24-07-2013 communicated vide Prl. Chief
Conservator of Forests, A.P. Hyderabad Rc.No.45921/2001/F4, dt.23-08-2013:
In this regard, it is to submit that the draft Notification in this respect has been
prepared and enclosed herewith for publication in two widely circulated daily newspapers,
one in vernacular language and the other in English language.
Hence, the Superintending Engineer(R&B), Nizamabad is kindly requested to
obtain permission from the competent authority to publish the above draft notification in
two widely circulated newspapers as above as per DAVP rates for the compliance of the
condition laid down in the Final ( Stage-II) approval.
