INSTRUCTIONS:
In conjunction with Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM)'s 40th-anniversary celebration, you are required to
produce a logo design of the event. Hence, you need to write a Creative Brief for a logo design project.
Objectives:
• Define the primary purpose of the logo
• Clarify the intended audience/target demographic
• Specify any specific visual elements or messages the logo should convey.
• Indicate how the logo will be used (online, print, merchandise, etc.).
• Overview
Describe the wider perspective of the project, including why it exists and what the client hopes to
accomplish.
• Scope
Outline the scope of the project, including the creative work performed and the deliverables or end-
product the client will receive once you complete the project.
• Objectives
Define and clarify the client’s objectives, both to demonstrate your understanding to the client and to
establish a direction for the design once work begins.
• Target Audience
Describe the client’s perfect customer as defined by them. Depending on the creative project, this
section can also include a vignette of the business’s existing customers and demographics.
• Timeline
Clearly define the client’s timetable, including any details that are relevant, such as potential launch
dates or setbacks.
Submission Guidelines:
• Include a cover page with the company name (UUM), and project title.
• Organize the creative brief in a professional and readable format.
• Provide detailed and concise information under each section.
