Writing

You are on a holiday with your family at a new place, Write a diary entry on
an exciting day you have had.

Answer:

01 September 2019

Dear Diary,

Today has been wonderful! After three days of sightseeing today we

decided to go to the Lucknow Zoo. We took a ride on the toy train which
goes all around the zoo. We saw a variety of animals including hippos,
lions, tigers and bears. Two rhinos were running inside their huge
enclosure—they seemed to be jogging! The giraffes were taking a walk and
stopped to look at the train as we passed by. There were several kinds of
deer, including blackbucks which looked really beautiful. The monkeys
chattered loudly as we crossed their cages. We saw many species of birds,
including colourful macaws, parakeets, herons, cranes, flamingoes and the
large-beaked hornbill.

Later, we got off the train and walked around on our own. We stood by the
lion enclosure and waited till he roared. What a fun day it was! I had an
exciting time.

Tomorrow we may go to the planetarium. Let’s see! Good night!
