Micro teaching is a training method to improve a prospective teacher's basic abilities and
skills in teaching. I think Micro Teaching lessons are very fundamental in the major I chose,
namely education, basically the education and teacher training major is a field of science that
prepares its graduates to become teachers. Just as a teacher's job is to teach, Micro Teaching
lessons are very necessary for students who follow this major.
Regarding the review of learning during this 1 semester, namely in semester 5, I felt it
was very challenging even though last semester I also studied courses that were similar to Micro
Teaching now namely Methods of Teaching. Of course I felt there was a significant difference.
During the last semester of studying Methods of Teaching, Sir only emphasized us to do resume
articles more often, make lesson plans, and some PPT material related to the subject. However, it
is quite different from the Micro Teaching that was studied during this semester, namely that Sir
emphasizes us to better understand the methods, skills, make teaching practice, and create more
detailed lesson plans.
However, I did find it challenging but I felt a positive impact regarding the material
provided by Sir, namely that I now understand better what a professional teacher should do. I am
very grateful for studying this Micro Teaching course because the impact I felt was very
pronounced and very beneficial for me in the future.
After describing what I felt during 1 semester in semester 5, I have an impression and
message for my lecturer, namely Dr. La Sunra, S.Pd., M.Hum, I am very grateful to him as my
course lecturer who was very patient with me and my classmates, especially in the Parepare class
class of 2021. There were several incidents that might have disappointed my lecturer, but it turns
out that my lecturer's ego is very small and I am very grateful to him, I Andi Triandini
Ramadhani Irving really apologize for this incident and am very grateful to my lecturer
especially Dr. La Sunra., S.Pd., M.Hum He was my first lecturer who really impressed me with
his patience. Thank you for all the directions and advice given by my lecturer, that being a
teacher is not just about teaching in class but being a teacher must also have a pure, sincere soul
and be an example for the people around you. I will always remember this advice until I will be
successful in the future, Aamiin. Once again Thanks to our lecture is Dr. La Sunra, S.Pd.,
M.Hum. We will not forget him and we hope he will not forget the students from English
Education of Pare-pare class of 2021. ♡
