I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. Differentiate social, moral, and economic issues;
b. Classify issues as either social, moral, or economic;
c. Give possible solutions to community issues identified.

III. PROCEDURE
A. Preparation
1. Greetings
2. Prayer
The teacher will ask one of the students to lead the prayer.
3. Classroom Conditioning
The teacher will instruct the students to check if there is trash
under their chairs and to make sure their chairs are arranged
properly.
4. Checking of Attendance
The teacher will ask the secretary who among the students is
absent from the class.
5. Review
The teacher will recapitulate the previous lesson about bias and
prejudice.

B. Motivation
 Title of the Activity: What Am I?
Instruction: The teacher will flash some photos about some issues present in the
society as the learners try to answer the following.
 Poverty
 Corruption
 Unemployment
 Bullying
 Stealing
C. Presentation of the Topic
1. Defining the following terms:
 Issue
 Social, Moral, Economic
2. What are social, moral, and economic issues?
3. Examples of social, moral, and economic issues.
D. Generalization
Summarize the lesson by asking the following questions:
1. What is social, moral, and economic issue?
2. How do you differentiate social, moral, and economic issue?
3. Give the importance of understanding and knowing the social, moral, and
economic issues that can affect our daily lives.
E. Application
The teacher will divide the students into five groups, and each group will be
given a specific issue. Either social, moral, or economic issue. After that, they will
make a slogan about giving possible solutions to these issues.
IV. EVALUATION

The teacher will give example statements/scenarios, and the students will classify if it is
social, moral, or economic issue.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Directions: Apply what you have learned by completing the table below. Write the
various problems observed in your community, identify the type of issue and give some
suggestions in solving the problems. Copy the chart.
