Program objectives: At the end of the program, the participants will have
 To contribute in promoting the empowerment of all women;

 To strengthen implementation of the Magna Carta of Women.
 To recognize the exceptional achievements of women parents; and
 To show the importance of every woman and give the chance to experience
recreation and fun.
Executive Summary: The National Women's Month celebration every March is part of the worldwide
observance of the International Women’s Day (IWD). This served as a venue to recognize
and acknowledge women achievements and discuss continuing and emerging women
empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments.
The following issuances serve as legal bases for the annual activity:
• Proclamation No. 224 s. 1988, “Declaring the First Week of March of Every Year
as Women’s Week and March 8, 1988, and Every Year.
• Proclamation No, 227 s. 1988, “Providing for the observance of the Month of
March as ‘Women’s Role in History Month’.
• R.A. 6949 s. 1990, “An Act to Declare March Eight of Every Year as a Working
Special Holiday to be Known as National Women’s Day”.
The program started at 10 am in the morning, it commenced with a presentation of an

audio-visual invocation of the assigned teachers, followed by the singing of the National
Anthem. Afterwards Sheryl Ann D. Adriano, Teacher I, instructed the following contestants
to proceed to their respected contested area.
After the contested activities, they proceed with the awarding of the winner for the different
contested activities. The said program ended by a simple bonding of the teachers and the
parents.
