~WAYS TO TELL THE TIME~

There are two common ways of telling the time.

1) Say the hour first and then the minutes. (Hour + Minutes)

6:45 - It's six forty-five

10:09 - It's ten O-nine (the O is said like the letter O)
12:11 - It's twelve eleven
5:21 - It's five twenty-one

7:01 2:10

3:45 5:58

7:01 11:42

Say the minutes first and then the hour. (Minutes + PAST / TO + Hour)

For minutes 1-30 we use PAST after the minutes.

For minutes 31-59 we use TO after the minutes.

6:45- It's fifteen to seven

10:09- It's nine past ten
12:11- It's eleven past twelve
5:21- It's twenty-one past five
