1 Connect to the DVR using the Remote Desktop
Connection
1. Click Windows key on the keyboard and type “remote desktop connection”. Confirm
with the Enter key.
2. The Remote Desktop Connection window opens.
3. Type the IP address into the Computer text field. The IP address is 192.168.1x.101
where x is the number of the car (e.g. for car number 3 the IP address is
192.168.13.101).
4. Click on the “Show Options” button in the left-bottom corner.
5. Select the “local Resources” tab and click the “More” button.

6. Select the “Local Disk (C:)” checkbox if it is not selected. Confirm with the “OK”
button.
7. Confirm the connection with the “Connect” button if the “Do you trust this …”
window appears. Otherwise continue to the next step.
8. The “Window Security - Enter your credential” window appears. Click on the “More
choices” link and select the “Use a different account” option.
9. Type the username “administrator” and password “Pa$$w0rd” (P = UPPER CASE, s =
dollar sign, o = zero). Confirm with the “OK” button.

10. Confirm the connection with the “Yes” button if the certificate window appears.
Otherwise continue to the next step.
2 Copy Installation file to the local workstation PC
11. On recorders “C:” drive, there is a folder “C:\INSTALL\G-CORE” with file “G-
Core_installer_2_2_1_76MUI.exe” (the version might not be the same).
12. Copy this file to some folder on the workstation PC (open “This PC” and “C on
WORKSTATION_NAME”).
13. Close or hide the Remote Desktop Connection window using the tool bar on the top
of the window.
3 Install the G-View
14. Run the installation on the local workstation PC.
15. In the install window, select ONLY “G-view” and “Export Privacy”

4 Configure G-View
16. Once installation is finished, run “G-View” as an Administrator (right-click the G-View
icon and select the “Run as administrator” option). The username for the
administrator account is “admin” and the password is “admin”.
17. Go to “Options -> Profile manager” and in the G-View ProfileManager select the
“Connections” item (second option).
18. Right-click in the right window and select »Add« from the opened menu.
19. Select the newly added connection and use the following parameters:
a. Computername: DVR IP address (use the same as for Remote Desktop
Connection)
b. Username: sysadmin
c. Password: masterkey (Tick the “Save password” checkbox in order to be able
to enter the password.)
20. Save settings before exiting profile manager by clicking on the “Save settings” button
at the left-top corner of the “G-View ProfileManager” window (diskette ikon).
21. Exit G-View.
5 Run & use G-View
22. Run G-View as a normal user (double-click on the desktop icon, single-click on a
taskbar icon or select it from the Start menu).
