RULE OF THIRDS
I enabled the grid lines on my camera to
visualize the Rule of Thirds and
position the key elements of my
composition along these lines or their
intersections to create a balanced and

engaging photo. I experiment with different placements and adjust as needed to refine my
composition.
BALANCING ELEMENTS
I position my main subject off-center
and include a secondary element on
the opposite side to balance the
composition, ensuring neither
element overpowers the other. I
adjusted the placement and visual
weight of each element to create a
harmonious and engaging photo.
LEADING LINES
To use leading lines in my photography composition, first I
identified natural or man-made lines in my scene or this
building, that draw the viewer’s eye towards the main
subject. I position myself and frame the shot so these lines
guide the viewer's attention through the image toward the
focal point.
SYMMETRY AND
PATTERNS
To use symmetry and
patterns in my
photography
composition, I started
by identifying
symmetrical scenes or
repeating patterns, such
as reflections,
architecture, or natural
formations. I position my camera to align these elements
centrally or in a way that emphasizes their repetitive nature,
creating a balanced and visually appealing image.
VIEWPOINT
I used viewpoint in
photography composition
that involves changing
the position from which I take my photo to alter the perspective
and impact. I experiment with different angles, such as
shooting from high above, ground level, or from the side, to
find the most compelling and unique perspective that enhances
the subject and overall composition of my image.

BACKGROUND
I chose black as a background because it’s night at
that time and it helps to not distract from the main
focus. I adjusted my shooting to enhance the
overall visual impact and storytelling of my image.
DEPTH
To create
depth in my photography using a stair, I position the stairs
as a prominent foreground element that leads the viewer's
eye into the image. I adjusted my aperture to keep it sharp
to maintain context, enhancing the overall sense of depth in
my composition.
FRAMING
Using framing in my
photography
composition involves
incorporating
elements within the scene to surround or border the main
subject, directing the viewer's attention toward it. I look for
natural frames like archways, windows, or foliage, and
position myself so that these elements enhance the
composition by drawing attention to the subject while
adding depth and context to my image. I adjusted my
framing by moving closer or changing angles to achieve
the desired emphasis and visual impact.

CROPPING
To utilize cropping effectively in my photography
composition, I captured my initial image with ample space
around the subject. During post-processing, I refined my
composition by cropping and blurring to remove
distractions, emphasize the subject, and enhance the
overall visual impact of my photograph.
EXPERIMENTATION
Experimentation in my photography composition involves
exploring various angles, perspectives, and compositional
techniques. By testing different lighting conditions and
camera settings, I can discover creative ways to capture and
enhance the visual impact of my subjects. I also edit the
image to experiment and create a very artistic photo.
