Day 1, July 22, 2020, the first topic was about ‘’ Transforming our Classroom
through Microsoft Teams’’ by Mr. Donald B. Dungog, Microsoft Education Ambassador
Phils. He shared his expertise in a new way to Communicate, Collaboration, Create a
Team, Create a Channel, Team Meetings, Voice Call, Video Call, Adding Apps in
Microsoft Teams, Creating Assignments and Rubrics. It started from 9:00am and finished
passed 12:00 noon. Teachers processed their outputs and submitted online. From 1:00
pm to 2:30 pm, another topic was shared by Mr. Glenny Laping, Microsoft Innovative
Educator Expert, Phils. His topic was ‘’Creating A Back -Up Using One Drive for
Business’’. He talked about the User Interface, Uploading Files, Syncing to PC, Delete
and Restore, and Sharing Folders and Files. From 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, Dr. Rubilyn
Pastrano, Microsoft Education Ambassador Phils., introduced to us the Smart Lookup,
Citations, and Recover Unsaved Documents.
Day 2, July 23, 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, ‘’ New Way of Writing Using
OneNote’’ was shared to us by Dr. Rubilyn Pastrano, Microsft Education Ambassador
Phils. She talked about the Review on Notebook, Sections, and Pages, One Note Class
Notebook, Collaboration Space, Content Library, Individual Space, and Managing
Notebooks. From 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, teachers processed their outputs and
submitted online. From 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, ‘’ New Way of Assessment Through
Microsoft Forms’’ by Mr. Guendolyn Templado, Microsoft Innovative Educator Phils. He
shared to us the User Interface, Types of Forms (Quiz and Forms), Types of Questions
(Text, Choice, Likert), and How to Share the Forms. From 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, another
feature was shared to us about ‘’Organize and Analyze Data Through Microsoft Excel’’
by Mr. Fritz Marata, Microsoft Innovative Educator Phils. Conditional Formatting, Pivot
Tables, Pivot Charts, and Slicers were taught to us. It was productive, challenging,
innovative, useful, and informative on that day.
Day 3, July 24, 2020, Ms. Judelyn Dugan, Microsoft Innovative Educator Phils.,
shared to us about ‘’ Microsoft Outlook’’. She taught to us about User Interface, Send,
Respond, Forward Email using Outlook, Attachments and Attached Reminders, Email
Signatures, Adding Calendars, Viewing Calendars from the Directory, Sending Calendar
Invites, and Elevating Meetings Teams from 9:00 am-10:30 am. At exactly 10:30 am –
11:30 am, ‘’Microsoft Planner’’ was introduced to us with the User Interface, Creating
Task, Assigning Task, Automatic Replies, and Responding to Invites. There were
walkthrough, demo, and passing of the outputs made by the teachers. In the afternoon,
from 1:00 pm- 2:30 pm, Mr. Kent Seacop, Microsoft Innovative Educator Phils., shared
to us about’’ Best Practices Using Microsoft PowerPoint’’. He taught us about Quick
Starter, Design Ideas (Office 365), Morph Transition, 3D Models, and Organizing Slides
Using Section. Redeeming of Microsoft Badges and Evaluation through mentimeter were
conducted. To end the 3 Day Training, Closing Program was given. Mr. Donald B.
Dungog gave us inspiring messages to ponder on.
