Not much to say here, we're humanities students passionate about mental health

issues. we are set up for success because our idea will be providing a platform
many people are in need of but don't express it due to this socially created
negative air about those who are mentally suffering.

An online platform for guidance for those in grief & piloting mental reassurance
and solace towards the youth in Pakistan, mainly teenagers who are in their puberty
years.

8 out of 10 teenagers in Pakistan suffer from trauma or heartbreak or any other

kind of grievance. A kind of pain that has been moving down in family generations
and in our era, most teenagers are chosen to feel that pain. It can be stress,
heartbreak, depression or trauma, a kind of pain that demands to be felt and those
who refuse to ignore that pain are classified in our age " Mentally disordered".
There are many sectors mental issues depending on the age group for example in
children, there is a multiple digit number that have mentally challenging lives
whether due to familial issues or issues by birth. Quite literally, our project
emphasizes on the age group of teenagers. The age where now most individuals are
getting involved in relationships with the opposite gender as well. We aim to
create an online platform where young people can share their experiences, can share
their pain with those who have embraced the path of helping others and guiding
those in grief to a better place. Another major issue is that people hesitate in
visiting a therapist. They either want a family member or a friend to go with them
but at the same time, they don't want anyone else to know about their Mental
challenges as well however, they are more than prepared to share it online, whether
through social media or other means but they are doing it in such methods. With
this they do not feel any reassurance or comfort rather they find themselves
confined in a much darker place. This platform will create a pathway for such
individuals seeking help through internet. It solves the notion of how do we help
youth in our nation suffering Mental Pain. It will eradicate the fear and troubles
of visiting a Mental Therapist physically and make them available to you just by
the Internet at your home, office or any other place just by a few clicks.

One main challenge we identified was that How do we get trained therapists to
actually register themselves on our platform. We definitely would have to convince
them through such means that it clicks positively.

It is the only online platform aimed towards helping the youth regarding Mental
challenges. There do exist a few platforms such as RentAFriend, RentaCyberFriend
and Marham but they either focus on friendship or medical appointments (such is the
case for Marham). Our idea specializes on Mental health, how to overcome such
issues, talking to therapists for comfort and guidance which is one of a kind in
this age. Social Media only talks about what mental issues are and how sad the
lives are for those suffering but there is less emphasis on why they are going
through such a phase and how do they get out of it. As afore mentioned, we
specialize in fixing Mental Disorders which is the only one of its kind startup in
this sector.

The youth. Specifically teenagers and young adults.

It would create safety, a sense of social belonging for mentally disordered people.
Not only will it make them feel accepted in society but also it will spread
knowledge and raise awareness about why and how Mentally disordered also belong to
regular human beings and are not entities to be condemned or excluded from social
life.

We aim to start by developing an App. we also plan on sending a delegation to the

PPA and other mental therapists all around Pakistan.
A major milestone is that we want to reach a large number of reach towards the
public, spreading awareness about this program and we aim to do it in less than a
month after launching our app. Once the well running of this platform is
established, we can add more sections related to children and adults as well but
mainly we will start from the youth

Not sufficient for app development and the promotional schemes .

well, App development is the main thing and then it is mainly the promotion. Since
we plan to allow therapists to register themselves on it for free, we would just
need a well planned delegation.

We do have a family business running well enough to fund our business but the
startup capital is what we lack and SparkTank with this wonderful oppurtunity, we
have alot of hope in our Business

Yes, we did research on the amount of young people who need mental help. 8 out of
10 teenagers are in Mental pain and these numbers grow into millions.
As for to whom will we send our app delegation or a team of representatives, PPA is
the authority we would need to gain a positive reaction from as well as other
Mental Therapists nationwide.

Internationally, there is RentAFriend and nationally the competition is less,

Mahram is one app that does offer mental therapists as well but it mainly focuses
on booking appointments. We again would be offering chatting, calls and other
options one can undergo at a place where they won't have any fear of being socially
exposed as Ill - Home.

Again, we will be providing complete Mental Help whereas our competition is almost
zero and even if there is, they do not specialize on Mental therapy.

Social media promotions, ads designated for particular places of a city which can
include billboards. Also delegations to the Mental Therapy authorities in Pakistan.
