P-07 Upper limit of scale no. 1(-999/2900 digit)
These parameters define the limits of scale no. 1 which are the same of the set-
point limits to be entered by the operator. In this scale all parameters are in
percentage: alarms hysteresis, hysteresis in modulation, ON/OFF, proportional
band, dead band. This scale is also used to limit the displaying of process or to
calculate the values to display in case there are inputs configurated in voltage or
current (see P-02 or P-03 3rd Number).

action at the closing or opening of eventual contacts connected to these inputs.

or to start a cycle. Impulse means contact closing (or opening) for at least 150
msec.

P-19 Reserved
P-20 Heating resistances power (0.0/999 Kwatt)
This parameter defines the power of the heating elements which are controlled by
the controller. If the set value is different from O, at the end of the cycle it is
possible to visualize the power consumption by pressing the key .
(1)
IN1 - for IN2 flashing .Press to stop the signal.
27
P-22 Maximum gap of step end for waiting function (1/127 digit).
If the gap between set-point and process 1 remains under the value of this
parameter the controller goes to the next step without waiting the programmed
time of P-21. For further information see chap 11.2.
P-23 Gradient of recovery in grades/hour (1/9999 digit/ hour, 0 function Recovery
excluded).
This parameter defines the rise gradient of the recovery stage in case of black
out. For further information see chap 11.1.
P-24 Reserved
P-25 Filter analog input (1/40 in quarters of second)
This parameter defines the value of the software filter on the reading of sensors
connected to AN1 or AN2.
P-26 Shift value (correction) for input AN1 (-128/127 digit)
P-27 Shift value (correction) for input AN2 (-128/127 digit)
These parameters are used to solve possible mistakes caused by parasite
thermocouples formed in the joints of the compensated cable or to hit the
precision of thermocouple or thermoresistance on a well precise point of the
scale.
For example if a calibration cone for ovens melts at 1200°C and the controller
visualizes 1190°C, put 10 on P-26 to correct the visualization.
P-28 Value of end modulation ON/OFF (-999/2900 digit).
This parameter defines the point under which the controller modulates in
ON/OFF excluding P.I.D.. To use the controller only with ON/OFF modulation,
set this parameter over the top limit of scale no.1. To leave this type of
modulation out, set the parameter under the inferior limit of scale no.1.
P-29 Hysteresis in modulation ON/OFF (0.001/9.999 % scala no.1).
This parameter defines the hysteresis in the calculation of threshold/point of
intervention of command output(s) when the controller is in modulation ON/OFF,
it’s useful to avoid annoying and sometimes dangerous oscillations at the moment
when the process is almost the same as the setpoint.
28
P-30 Maximum time impulse (1.0/25.5sec).
This parameter defines the cycle time for the outputs with proportional time. For
example with P-30 at 10.0 sec.: it has the 60% of output when this is on for 6.0
sec. and off for 4.0 sec. to be on for other 6.0 sec. and so on.
P-31 Limit order signal (10/100%)
This parameter defines the maximum limit in percentage of the command signal.
For example : to supply the heating resistances of an electric oven with max.
60% of power, set this parameter to 60.
P-32 Reserved
P-33 Reserved
P-34 Reserved
P-35 Dead band (0.000/9.999 % scale no.1).
P-36 Proportional band (0.5-999.9% scale no.1).
P-37 Integral time (0/9999 sec). ( 0 excludes integral)
P-38 Derivative time (0.0/999.9 sec). (0 excludes derivative)
These parameters define the parameters of P.I.D. modulation.
29
9. List of anomaly signals
If the installation doesn’t work properly, the controller stops the cycle in progress and
visualizes the type of anomaly..
For example the controller will visualize the breakage of the thermocouple displaying
(flashing) on display and making the inside buzzer ringing. To stop the
buzzer, press OK.
For further signals look at the table below.

11.2 Waiting for step end
This function is very useful to control the
cooking cycle on ovens. In case at the end of a
step the distance between process and set-
point(1) exceeds the value parameter no. 22,
the controller starts with the next step only
after waiting the time set on parameter no.21,
or when the difference becomes smaller than
parameter no.22 (see graph beside).
During the waiting stage the led START
flashes, the timer is stopped and the display
visualizes . Instead of step number.
