Đề bài 2: The plans show how coastal land has developed into a coastal park.
(Đề thi ngày 20/01/2022)
The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in an area of coastal
land.
Overall, the area has been converted from agricultural land to a recreational
area with several new facilities and beach access.
Before the development, there were farm buildings situated in the center of the
area. To the east of the buildings was a large area of agricultural land. Directly
to the west of the buildings was an area for animals, and further to the west was
unused land. This entire area of land was separated from the beach by a cliff
line.
The development of the area has included the removal of the farm buildings,
which have been replaced by a car park. A new cafe has been built between
the carpark and the main road. A new footpath from the carpark to the east
leads to a woodland area, while a footpath to the west leads to a new lake
surrounded by trees. Furthermore, a set of stairs now provides access to the
beach down the cliffs.
Đề bài 3: The maps show art galleries in Australia in 1950 and now. (Đề thi
ngày 09/05/2020)
The maps compare the changes in the layout of an art gallery in Australia
between 1950 and the present day.
Overall, while most areas on the right-hand side and left-hand side remain
relatively unchanged, the rear of the building has seen a number of additions
of several new rooms at the expense of the courtyard.
In 1950, a courtyard was located at the rear of the building. This has now been
replaced by an art school for children on the left side, a room for Australian art
on the right side, and a room for Australian Aboriginal art in the centre. The cafe
located behind the temporary exhibition area on the left-hand side is now half
the size it was in 1950 and shares the space with a block of toilets.
The entrance and sculpture room have remained intact, however, the room
which previously housed Australian art at the front right side of the building is
now a room for Asian art.

Đề bài 1: The maps below show changes to the ground floor plan of a university
department in 1980 and 2010. (Đề thi ngày 17/02/2022)
The maps illustrate changes that were made to the ground floor plan of a
university department between the years 1980 and 2010.
Overall, a number of significant modifications took place, involving the addition
of two more seminar rooms, several new facilities, and the relocation and
expansion of other rooms.
In 1980, there were three seminar rooms; two adjoining rooms (S1 and S2)
located on one side of the corridor and one separate room (S3) on the other
side. Opposite S1, and adjacent to S3, was a library and an office. However, in
2010 the library was shifted, making room for the office to be expanded. While
the three seminar rooms remained intact in 2010, two more seminar rooms (S4
and S5) were added and the corridor was extended.
In 2010, the library was moved to a new building located to the east of the main
building, which also housed the new IT centre. The trees in this area were
cleared and a new car park was constructed next to the main entrance and
office.
