Operational Period Briefing Script

Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy): Good afternoon, everyone. This is your Planning Section Chief speaking. Welcome to
today's operational period briefing for Silago Earthquake for 1500H 28th day of June 2024 to 2000H 28th day of June 2024. Let us
pause for a while for a short prayer: Heavenly Father, As we gather here today to prepare for our operational period, We ask for
your guidance, wisdom, and strength. Grant us clarity of mind and unity of purpose, As we work together to manage the
earthquake aftermath in our Municipality. Watch over us and protect us in our duties, Keep us safe from harm and help us make
sound decisions. May our efforts be effective, and our actions serve others well. In your name, we pray. Amen."

So, we proceed with our Operation Objectives please refer to our Incident Action Plan. Let us get update with the current
situation from our Operations Section Chief.

Operation Section Chief (Engr Barrera): Thank you Engr Beloy. As of 14:20H, due to the 7.9 magnitude Earthquake in the Leyte
Guld, the Municipality of Silago Hall has been severely damaged, (Please use the Map to Explain) We received information that
many employees were trapped and injured. We also received confirmation that there is an ongoing fire at the Municipal
Agriculture’s Office Area. We also received another information that there were residents trapped along the coastal areas of
Barangay Poblacion District 1. Maag Bridge is not passible due to filled debris and toppled electrical post. Our Mayor also
prioritizes the search and rescue operations and provide humanitarian missions to affected families and individuals.

Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy): Thanks, Engr Barrera, Now please go ahead and check your Incident Action Plan, the
Objectives are stated in there by Unified Command and next page to that is the Assignment List that is basically the Contact List
for this operational period. Next page is the weather updates, since we do not have Weather Specialist I will just go ahead, So it
is expected to have Cloudy Skies and occasional rain showers. To bried us with the Operational Assignment. Let us hear again
from Operation Section Chief.

Operation Section Chief (Engr Barrera): Ok, here are the operational groups specially assigned for this operation.
So gumawa kami ng Dalawang Division, Division A is primarily focus around the Municipal Hall Area and the Division B is assign
for the residential areas along the coast.

Division A is compose of 3 task forces.


TaskForce 1 : Compose of the PNP Rescue team headed by PEMS Retchel Isip
TaskForce 2: Compose of the MDRRMO Silago and CAFGU headed by
Task Force 4: Medical Operations will be headed by Doc Jerome Ceasar Castillo.

Division B is compose of 3 task forces.


Taskforce 1- SEARU and MDRRMO Hinunangan Volunteers) Division Supervisor is
Taskforce 2- (BFP and CAFGU) Division Supervisor is
Task Force 3 – (Coastguard) Division Supervisor is

Any unassigned resources you can reached to me after the operational period briefing.

Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy): We may now call on our Safety Officer for safety reminders.

SAFETY OFFICER(PCPT Juanisa Mendoza): Safety remains our top priority. Be vigilant of potential hazards such as falling
debris. Please work in pairs. Always adhere strictly to safety protocols. We also received updates from Phivolcs that aftershocks
are expected so please ensure your safety.

Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy): Now turn to the Form 205 and 206, the Communications and Medical Plan. The Logistics
Operations Sections Chief will explain.

Logistics Section Chief ( Sir Bonin): Equipment are already available and other medical resources please refer to Form 205. Our
communication plan includes regular updates every 3 minutes and immediate notification of any significant changes or
emergencies. The designated communication channels are 143.275. Turn to form 206, please notify your supervisor for any
injuries. Meals and Drinks are located beside the Command Post, please get for yourself if needed as we will not be delivering
those.

Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy):Thanks Sir, now let us call on our Financial Section Chief.

Financial Section Chief (Ma’am Lea): We have enough funds for these operations, please make sure any purchases are
supported with receipt. For any question just reach to me.

Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy): Thanks Lea, Next for Information, Hannie.

Public Information Officer (Hannie): You may receive calls from media people and even blogger around the scene today, please
refrain from giving out interview and any unofficial information. Kindly direct them to me. Thank you.
Planning Section Chief (Engr Beloy): Thank you, and for cooperating agencies. We may call on our Liaison Officer

Liaison Officer(Kuya Jiff): I am trying to contact any other agencies to help out with the current situation. We will give you
updates by the end of the day.
