INTRODUCTION OF THE STUDY:
The capital market comprises of two segments- the primary and the
secondary markets. Broad term describing any market place where buyers and sellers
participate in the trade of assets such as equities, bonds, currencies and derivatives.
The term "market" is sometimes used for what are more strictly
exchanges, organizations that facilitate the trade in Financial sequrities .
Every capital market in the world is monitored by financial regulators and their
respective governance organization. The purpose of such regulation is to protect
investors from fraud and deception.
The capital market is also dependent on two sub-markets the primary market and
the secondary market. The primary market deals with newly issued securities and is
responsible for generating new long-term capital.
