    points to be consider while constructing a time table

    1)make sure that atleast 5 days of a week a particular subject is allocated an hour
    or period
    2)make sure that same subject is not allocated 2 hours twice on the same day , i,e
    if u
    allocate two hours for the same subject on the same day , don't do that again for
    the same
    subject on some other day of the week
    3)while allocating lab slots for a particular section , try to scatter them that is

    if u allocate labs for a section on three consecutive days , all remaining 3 days

    we have to run theory classes which will become an overload for the faculty and
    also
    boring for the student , so we allocate labs like mon , wed, sat or tue,thurs,sat
    or mon ,thur , fri like that try to allocate them in some what a day gap between
    them
    4)while allocting hours try to allocate the faculty which are having 3 theory
    subjects
    and then the faculty having 2 theory ,in order to avoid clashes,normally a
    faculty with
    3 theory subjects will be having clashes than the faculty having two
    5)some lab slots will be given for IT dept ,so we can allot those slots dynamically
    according
    to our convenience i.e we can interchange them among sections of the same year or
    among
    different years
    6)as second year and third year classes are commencing from jul 1st onwards try to
    construct
    them first
    7)while allocating time table have a meeting with all the other department time
    table incharges
    sit with them and allocate in order to avoid clashes
    8)while allcating an hour make sure that hours are distributed evenly among morning
    and after
    noon i.e 3 hours morning and 3 hours evening if not possible atleast 2 hours
    morning and
    4 hours after noon , but dont allocate all hours morning or all hours after noon
    for a faculty
    9)we are having 7 hours as 9:00 to 10:00, 10:00 to 11:00 ,11:10 to 12:10 , 12:10 to
    1:00
    1:00 to 1:50 lunch,1:50 to 2:50 ,2:50 to 3:50 and 3:50 to 4:50
    10)you can avoid according to ur choice if a person is having a lab for a section
    then you can
    avoid him or her a theory hour on the same day , no issue
    11)make sure that different periods or hours if possible are allocated for the
    faculty like
    for java faculty on mon -2th hour ,tue-5 wed -4,thur -3rd hour fri -7 sat -1 ,
    like this to
    allocate hours
    12)if a faculty handing 2 theory and 3 labs , try to allocate labs to that person
    as for example tue ,thur , sat or
    at least a day gap between those labs, then only you can get healty time table
    for that person
    13)for any section don't finish the lab slot in consecutive days other wise time
    table will not properly constructed
