 Performance assessment of the vendors/CP and implementing process modifications at


theirs end for quality improvement.
 Sourcing of Sub Contract vendors for Operational items and follow-ups.
 Overall Material Planning, Despatch Scheduling from warehouse End.
 Ensuring the timely delivery of the material continues improvement in productivity and
Quality of the Finished Products.
 To follow the “Re-order-level” against receipts.
 Managing the logistics functions and negotiating with Vendors / transporters and
suppliers for cost effective transport solutions and clearances.
 Assist in development /execution of Quarterly/yearly plans for supplies of existing & new
products & Services
 Building a high performing Supply Chain team that delivers excellent end-to-end supply
chain performance as measured by internal and external customers

Materials Management
 Formulating and implementing the materials policies.
 Ensuring optimum inventory levels for achieving cost savings for without hampering the
project operations and preparing reports for the same.
 Formulating and implementing the monthly strategies for of materials as per orders and
considering lead time requirements.
 Handling and monitoring receipt of all incoming materials and carrying out the receiving
inspection.
 Conducting the stock verification, stores accounting (valuation), stock control of
materials, identification of surplus and obsolete materials, storage and disposal of scrap,
Slow-Moving and Non-Moving Materials.
 Stores/ Warehouse Management
 Responsible for allocation / transfer of stocks, conducting routine inspection to ensure
reconciliation of physical stock at the warehouse.
 Responsible for overall Planning operations in stores, warehouse & logistics for achieving
targets as committed to the management & Customer end.
 Ensuring Warehouse billing & dispatching on time.

 MIS on expired, obsolete materials & value wise disposal of scrapped material for any
audit investigation.
 For quarterly performance review, preparing MIS with respect to material handling,
revenue gaining, cost saving & information as advised / required by management.
 Yearly MIS on total performance & as per management directives.

Transport Operations

 Managing Distribution network/Supply Chain for distributing goods from warehouse to


the production networks and to cluster units for achievement of targets within specified
parameters.
 Negotiating with transporters, etc. to achieve seamless and cost-effective movement of
consignment, ensuring timely deliveries.
 Responsible for the coordination and communication with other departments, suppliers
and customers for smooth operation flow.
