Chapter 3

RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY


This chapter presents the research design and methodology of the study.

Research Design

The study would require a sample of students from RC-AKIC Junior High School, who would be
randomly assigned to either the control or treatment group. The students in the control group
would receive traditional educational instruction, while those in the treatment group would have
access to modern educational technologies.

Locale of the Study

School around This study will be conducted in RC-AL KHWARIZMI INTERNATIONAL


COLLEGE FOUNDATION INCORPORATED. It is a private school located at Bo. Marawi
City, Lanao Del Sur established on 2008. The school is one of the top performing LDS.

Respondents of the Study

The participants of the study were a total of 1 student who were randomly selected. He was
among the quasar students. The researcher or the adviser believed that he could give relevant
information regarding if the title of the study.

Instrumentation

The Impact of Modern Educational Technology on the Academic Performance of the RC-AKIC
Junior High Students could include tools such as surveys, questionnaires, interviews, academic
records, and observation protocols. These instrument would likely aim to gather data on
students’ usage of modern educational technology, their academic performance metrics, their
perceptions of technology’s impact on their learning, and any other relevant variables for the
study.

Data Gathering Procedures

The Impact of Modern Educational Technology on the Academic Performance of RC-AKIC


Junior High Students could involve conducting surveys and interviews, as well as collecting data
from official reports and records such as exam results. Survey and interviews would be
conducted with participants in both the control and treatment groups to gather their perspective
on the use of modern educational technologies. Additionally, data would be collected from
school records such as exams results and official reports on student performance. This
information would be used to access the impact of modern educational technologies on academic
performance.

Data Analysis procedures

A Research study might be done to see if modern educational technology makes RC-AKIC
Junior High Students do better in school.
The study might include asking lots of questions, talking to people, and looking at test scores.
Data analysis techniques like correlation, t-testing and etc. May be used to figure out if there’s a
connection between education technology and school results.
