    BARANGAY EXECUTIVE ORDER


    No. 03 Series of 2021
    ESTABLISHMENT AND DESIGNATION OF BARANGAY DUTY OFFICERS OF
    BARANGAY CABINGTAN, ORMOC CITY.

    WHEREAS, DILG MC 2017-151 dated 10 of November 2017 provides for the monitoring of
    compliance of the barangays with the Dangerous Drug Board Regulations and ensuring the
    establishment and designation of Barangay Duty Officers;
    Section 1. Composition of the BARANGAY DUTY OFFICER of Barangay Cabingtan,
    Ormoc City:
    NAME DESIGNATION
    1. RUBEN L. PARCO SBM, Committee Chair on Peace and Order
    2. JOHANAN R. CANTAY SBM, Committee Chair on Appropriation
    3. BENJAMIN R. RIVERA SBM, Committee Chair on Health
    4. RENATO L METRAN SBM, Committee Chair on Livelihood
    5. LEONORA R. MAR Barangay Health Worker
    6. ENASCIA A. LOPEZ Barangay Health Worker

    Section 2. Functions of the BARANGAY DUTY OFFICER – The BDO shall have the
    authority and responsibility to perform the following:

    1. Man, the rehabilitation of referral Desk;


    2. Conduct an interview to solicit personal information from the surrenderers;
    3. Immediately inform the Punong Barangay in case the surrenderers is included in the
    target list, wanted list, watch list personalities of law enforcement agencies, such as but
    not limited to PDEA, PNP and NBI; or has any other pending criminal case;
    4. Refer and endorse drug dependents to the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) for
    screening using the Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test
    (ASSIST);
    5. Log and maintain a record book containing all information of surrenderers;
    6. Ensure confidentiality of all information of surrenderers;
    7. Monitor progress of surrenderers; and
    8. Perform other duties and functions as may be deemed necessary.

    Section 3. Effectivity – This order shall take effect immediately.

    This 1st day of January, 2021 in Barangay Cabingtan, Ormoc City, Leyte.
