Problem Statement

Research Objectives

List the things that you want to achieve with this research

*use the information that follows as a guide to create your own plan. Try not to mindlessly
copy what you see. It’ll affect your research and your results, and consequently, your
scores.

Research Questions

· How do people currently discover the costs of restaurants? (Behaviors)

· What factors affect how or whether they discover close-by restaurants and their prices? (Pain
points)

· What challenges do they face when they want to discover restaurants costs? (Pain points)

Method & Recruiting

It will be a 20-30 minutes video semi-structured interview to gather in-depth qualitative data. I
will use the interview script as a guide and ask follow-up questions based on the answers of the
users.

There will be 5-7 participants including:

• A young male
• A young female

To recruit participants, I will reach people who I know fit into this category via WhatsApp and
other social media platforms.

Interview Script

Introduction

Hello and thank you for participating in this research study. I am (INSERT YOUR NAME). I am
working on a project that (INSERT PROJECT BRIEF). I would love to hear about your
experience(s), so I will be asking you a series of questions.

This interview will last a maximum of thirty minutes. However, if you wish to take a break or
leave, you are absolutely free to do so. Also, this interview is not a test of knowledge on any
subject matter. There are no wrong answers so please feel free to express yourself.

· Have you ever changed your mind after getting to a restaurant because of the price?

· What frustrates you the most when searching for restaurants tro visit?

· Describe your worst experience when you visited a restaurant.

• What rating would you give these tool(s) from 1-10?

• What is/are your favorite feature(s)?

• What do you dislike about these product(s)?

• Are there any features you think they should have which they don’t?
