9. Perform the action words by re-enacting it infront of the class.

Teacher will present different pictures of actions and will ask
students to put a name to each verb.

The teacher will show a picture and the students will guess what it
says.

3. ABSTRACTION

What is Verb?
-Verb is an action word.
- Verbs are the action words in a sentence that describe what the
subject is doing.
- Along with nouns, verbs are the main part of a sentence or
phrase, telling a story about what is taking place.

The dog is barking.


Ian swept the floor.
He ran away.
She eats chocolate cake on Sundays.
The horses gallop across the fields.

-The bolded words in the sentences are examples of verbs.

4. GENERALIZATION:
The teacher will ask the learners to give some examples of a verb.
5. APPLICATION:
The learners will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will be
assigned to a task.
Teacher will discuss the rubric.

- The learners will match the pictures to the action word.
