Creating Presentation

1. Explain any three features of PowerPoint

➔ Design

➔ PowerPoint's interface tools help you to adjust the look and format of the slides. PowerPoint
usually comes with a collection of preloaded themes that you can pick from. This can vary
from basic color changes to large format formats with corresponding font text.

Presentation

PowerPoint's display feature is largely built to please the public. PowerPoint comes with a
built-in Note function; when printing presentation slides, you can add the Presenter
Comments as supporting material to each slide.

Integration

PowerPoint is compatible with the other applications in the Microsoft Office suite; you can
convert slides to Word documents or use Excel maps in your presentation. In addition to
image and audio support, PowerPoint 2007 also has video integration functionality; you can
embed videos in a presentation for quick replay without leaving the software.

2. Explain any one method of creating a presentation.

➔ It's quick to make a PowerPoint slide show from scratch, too. Open a blank presentation
type by pressing "New" from the "File" folder, "Office Button" or "File" tab, and choosing
"Blank Presentation," by using the "Ctrl+N." keyboard shortcut. Go to the "Format" menu in
PowerPoint 2003 and press "Slide Design" to choose a design option for your PowerPoint
presentation. Go to the "Design" tab in PowerPoint 2007 or 2010 and pick a style from the
gallery.

Go to the "Insert" menu in PowerPoint 2003 or the "Insert" tab in PowerPoint 2007 or 2010
to insert items on a slide, such as text boxes, pictures, or maps. Add animation and slide
transformations from the "Slide Show" menu in PowerPoint 2003 or the "Animations" tab in
PowerPoint 2007 or 2010.

3. Write two ways of changing the view to slide show view.

➔ 1. We can control the Slide Sort View from the taskbar at the bottom of the sliding pane.

2. Pick the screen tab on the ribbon and then, in the display view, press the slide sorter
button.

4. Explain steps in inserting a text box in a slide.

➔ In the Home Ribbon, under Painting, press the Text Box button.
You'll get a mouse embedded in the text box that looks like an inverted cross.

To insert a text box, press. You will now start clicking in the text box directly.

Alternatively, you can press and move the mouse to create a text box without releasing the
click.

5. How do you change the amount of space between lines in a text box?

➔ To edit, pick one or more paragraphs. To pick everything, press Ctrl + A.

Go to Home > Spacing Lines and Columns Line and Spacing Paragraphs press

Pick Line Spacing Options, and in the Line Spacing box, choose an alternative.

Choices for Line Alignment

To alter the spacing between paragraphs, modify the before and after settings.

Click OK.

6. How do you insert picture bullets in slides?

➔ Click the list of photo bullets or icons you would like to add to. Click one bullet or number in
the list to adjust a full list level in a multilevel list. Click on the arrow next to the bulletins on
the Home page, in the community Paragraph, to click the Latest Bullet Description.

7. How do you add notes to your slides?

➔ It is possible to apply annotations to the slide from Regular View. You won't see these notes
in your presentation, so you can print them out on paper along with the slide alluded to by
choosing Print What: Notes Pages from the Print menu.
