Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position as per the details
given below,(BT/PR51413/PBD/26/848/2023), under the Dr. G.ARTHANAREESWARAN, Principal
Investigator, Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli-
15, Tamil Nadu.
1. Title of the Project
Development of ultrasound assisted membrane bioreactor and
aligned operational processes for sustainable enzyme reusable
saccharification of cellulose-enriched waste biomass
2. Funding Agency for the Project Department of Biotechnology, India
3. Project Positions and Number Junior Research Fellow (one Vacancy)
4. Qualifications Essential: B.Tech. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology,
Industrial Biotechnology, Petrochemical, Petroleum Engineeirng &
M.Tech. / M.E. Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial
Biotechnology, Petrochemical, or any other relevant specialization
from an AICTE/MoE recognized Institute/University with FIRST
CLASS and Qualified GATE Score.
5. Emoluments
Rs. 37,000 + 18% HRA per month for the first two years.
Rs. 42,000 + 18% HRA per month for the third year.
6. Duration 3 years but initially for a period of ONE YEAR and will be
extended for the consecutive years based on the performance.
7. Job Description Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – ONE
To execute the research work detailed in the entitled project.
Compilation of the outcomes of the results.
Report Preparation.
The selected candidates will be permitted to register for the Ph.D.
Program as per NITT rules and regulations.
General Instructions:
A. Before appearing for the interview, the candidates shall ensure that they are eligible for the position
they intend to apply.

C. Application should be furnished only in the prescribed format.
D. Experience includes research, industrial field and others.

F. Candidates shall bring along with them the original certificates at the time of interview for
verification.
G. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview. The decision of the selection
committee is final and binding.
H. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail/Mobile and no separate call letter will be
issued for the same.
I. The last date and time of submission of duly filled in application is 17 th July 2024 at 05.00 p.m.
