As we commence with the session we find ourselves at a pivotal moment,
a moment that symbolizes the illumination of knowledge and the spirit of
collaboration. It is time for a ceremony that transcends cultures and

Mansha:
SIDTM, a constituent of Symbiosis International University, is the first
institute to offer management training in digital, telecommunications, and
information technology. It is a unique curriculum that combines Digital &
Telecom Technology with Management, and it was founded in 1996; by the
honorable Dr. S.B. Mujumdar sir (Chancellor of SIU), who took a bold stride
forward. In the whole SAARC area, SIDTM is the PREMIER institution for
MBA in Digital and Telecom programs, with ranks of Best Telecom
B-School in the specialty sector.

Our curriculum has changed throughout time to meet business demands

and keep up with technological advancements. We've progressed from
core telecom to ICT management over the previous 24 years, adding
specialties like "Analytics and Finance" to match business demands.
Because both frontiers are digital in nature, the term "digital and telecom"
was coined when the "National Digital Communication Policy, 2018" was
introduced. Since then, the Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management
has changed its name to the Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to our respected director, Dr.
CA Abhijeet Chirputkar, sir.

Sir has an M.Com degree and stood 5th in the order of merit at the
University of Pune. He is also a Chartered Accountant and has completed
a Master’s in Business Finance, a post-Chartered Accountancy
qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. On the
technology side, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA,
USA, and holds PhD. in Management.

He has been associated with SIDTM since 2004, firstly in the capacity of a
visiting faculty, then as a full-time faculty member & thereafter, Deputy
Director in 2014 and Director in 2017 of SIDTM.

He has a rich consulting experience of more than 10 years in the areas of

accounting, taxation, and finance. He has a teaching experience of more
than 21 years and has taught courses in accountancy, finance, and
business modeling and planning.

I request Director Sir to address the gathering.

responsible for data science, content engineering, solutioning and
operations. Amit leads a strong team of analysts, engineers and data
scientists for compliance ensuring great analysis, prototyping, design,
buildout, performance, and scale. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Amit
worked at FirstRain for nearly 13 years developing data-driven products
and leading Customer Success and Analytics teams. Amit holds an MBA
