Dear Sir,

Below is a summary of Telecom, unboxing, Installation and Commissioning site activities at Ravi G/S,
Muzaffargarh TPS Phase-I and Sarfaraz Nagar G/S during Week 13

1. Ravi G/S:

27/03/2024 Telecom Room:

1x FOX615 Panel has been unboxed and erected


properly. 1x mini OTB has been mounted inside the
FOX615 Panel. 2x OTB have been unboxed and
mounted on the wall. FO Patch cords has been laid
and ready to connect. VO/Analogue Telephone have
been installed.

28/03/2024 SMS Room:

1x Media converter has been secured in a metallic box


and mounted on the wall in the SMS room. 1x mini
OTB has been mounted on the wall in the SMS room.

29/03/2024 Cables:

AC, DC and grounding cables has been laid from the


FOX615 to MCBs. Approximately 240m FO cable
within PVC conduit has been laid from SMS room to
FOX615 in Telecom room. Grounding and DC cable
for SMS room has been laid. CAT07(101 & 104)
cables have been laid from FOX615 panel to RTU.
Ethernet cable has been laid.

30/03/2024 Cables:

Approximately 177m Teleprotection signal cables


(Three cables are laid from FOX615 to Lahore 500
panel, each cable is 31 meters long (total 93 meters).
another, three cables are laid from FOX615 to
Shalamar panel, each cable is 28 meters long total 84
meters) has been laid from the protection relays to the
FOX615. Approximately 110m Cables from
VO/Analogue Telephone have been laid up to
FOX615. The tagging of the cables has been done
properly.

2. Sarfaraz Nagar:

Date Equipment Installation Details

26/03/2024 Cables:

Approximately 195m Teleprotection signal cables


(Three cables are laid from SDH to NKLP 220 panel,
each cable is 35 meters long (total 105 meters).
Secondly, three cables are laid from SDH to Okara new
panel, each cable is 30 meters long total 90 meters) has
been laid from the protection relays to the FOX615. AC
and DC cables have been laid and terminated. The
tagging of the cables has been done properly.

3. Muzaffargarh TPS Phase-I:

Date Equipment Installation Details

27/03/2024 Telecom Room:

1x FOX615 Panel has been unboxed and erected


properly. 2x New OTBs have been unboxed and
mounted on the wall. FO Patch cords has been laid from
2x new and 1x existing OTBs to FOX615 Panel and
ready to connect.

29/03/2024 Cables:

AC, DC and grounding cables have been laid and


terminated at both ends FOX615 Panel and MCBs.
Approximately 150m FO cable within PVC conduit has
been laid from SMS room to FOX615 in Telecom room.
Approximately 12m Cables from Analogue Telephone
have been laid up to FOX615.

Observed Issues:

1. It has come to our attention that at the Muzaffargarh TPS Phase-I site installation work has not
been completed yet and pending work includes, installation of 2x mini OTBs, Media converter,
VO/Analogue Telephone. Labeling for OTBs to identify the fiber links, remote end stations are
still pending. Grounding and DC cable for SMS room, Ethernet cables and Tele-protection signal
cables have not been laid yet. RTU CAT07 Cable cannot be laid due to the far distance from
Telecom Panel. The tagging of the cables is still pending.

Contractor/Employer must resolve the above mentioned issues as soon as possible.
