Summer Vacation is an opportunity to relax, explore and engage in delightful educational activities.

Holiday Homework is designed to ignite students' imagination, motivating them to explore, discover
and reinvent. Students should work independently and seek assistance when required. Neatness and
presentation are essential.
Suggestions:
● Involve in household activities to promote life skills and independence.
● Inculcate good manners, healthy habits, respect for elders, empathy, affection and tolerance.
● Encourage reading purposeful and delightful books. Converse in English.
● Enroll in performing arts classes. Improve handwriting through daily writing practice.
● Encourage indoor and outdoor games to cultivate sportsmanship.
● Accompany children for daily morning walks.
● The homework must be the child's effort. Parents should guide, not substitute.

● Compile the work in an attractive folder for the portfolio.
● Holiday homework carries 5 marks per subject towards the portfolio assessment. Complete
profile details neatly.
● Nourish with nutritious foods, fresh fruits and homecooked meals. Limit fried/unhealthy foods.
● Incorporate yoga, exercise routines, and mindful meditation practices into your daily schedule
to cultivate a healthy body and calm mind during the vacation.

Design a mathematical newspaper size (10” X 14”) which includes: -

6. Choose any one;
a. Create a bar chart representing the percentage of votes received by each political party
(top 5) for the ongoing general election in all seven constituencies of Delhi.
b. Create a pie chart illustrating the distribution of seats won by different political parties (for
parties winning more than 20 seats) in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
c. Create a histogram representing the distribution of age of voters in all the 7
constituencies of Delhi with the following age groups:
18-28, 28-38, 38-48, 48-58, 58-68, 68 and above.
