Why have you chosen to study in the United

Kingdom as opposed to your home country

or any other country?
Guidance: Think about why you chose the UK
rather than your home country or other English speaking
countries.
Think about the advantages that a degree from
the UK might give you and why you and/or your
family are prepared to make this investment in
your future. Have you made a realistic
assessment of all the costs involved and how
you plan to pay for them? These costs include
accommodation, costs of living and tuition fees.

Why have you chosen to study in this

university/centre instead of other universities
you might have considered for your studies?
Why have you applied for the chosen course?
Guidance: There may be many courses in the
same subject area as the one you plan to study
at the university of your choice. What is it
specifically about the ONCAMPUS pathway
course and the University which you prefer and
which suits you over other course choices? Think
about your decision process. Did you apply for
other universities/courses - why did you choose
this particular university over them? What
modules are you most looking forward to
studying and how are these assessed?

Tell us about your family background?

Guidance: Tell us who makes up your
household, if you have any family members who
have studied overseas before? Do you have any
siblings? Are your siblings dependent on your
sponsor’s income?

how many? Will your dependents be coming
with you to the UK?

letters and any relevant details such as the
date of the refusal and the type of visa
applied for.

the UK (including your future degree
course)?
Who is your financial sponsor and what is
their relationship to you?

and their monthly salary/income? Please
clearly list the currency as well.

studies in the UK? Please provide full address
of the accommodation if known.
Guidance:
How much do you know about the city where
you are going to stay? How did you make your
accommodation decision?

Do you plan to work in the UK during your

studies?
If yes, how many hours per week are you
planning to work during your studies? What
type of job would you like to perform?

What is your future plan when you complete

your studies in the UK?
Guidance: Think about what your plans are after
you graduate - how will the knowledge and
skills you gain from your course help you with
the type of work you hope to do. You may wish
to consider the following: Do you intend to
return to your home country to find
employment, do you intend to be self-employed
or be an employee of an organisation? Do you
intend to apply for the Graduate Work visa?
